The surgery was in 2009, so it's been a few years of discomfort. After the surgery, I would go a few days without any problems, but then I would have them again. There have been many eye drops that I've tried including Restasis (same thing, unproven benefit), warming compresses twice daily, and eyelid wipes, even a special face wash with tea tree. My first one was nearly one month ago, and since then I have been taking them every day. Every day, 2 hours. I will be in touch within I won't have to worry about dry eyes again! I have been buying 120 capsule bottles for months now and I can truly say it is the best. Because of its Nordic origin, it is quite expensive, but I would still choose it over other products simply because it does not give me a fish burp.
