Questions & Answers

Are all of the ingredients 'all-natural'? natural'?

I just wanted to add my two cents to the debate. If you're looking for a low-sugar treat, it doesn't matter if the ingredients are "all natural." It isn't like this. The fiber comes from soluble corn fiber, also known as Maltodextrin, despite the fact that it only has one gram of sugar and five grams of erythritol. The glycemic index of maltodextrin is higher than that of regular sugar. Sugars that cause a rapid rise in blood glucose levels are low-energy, nutritionally deficient foods. To put it another way, the fiber in this cookie is the wrong kind, making it unhealthy and a waste of your 230 calories. If you're looking for a low-sugar treat, look for prebiotic fiber or resistant starches (which performs the same function as prebiotic fiber). These types of fiber will ensure gut health, reduced appetite, and slowed sugar absorption (causing your blood sugar to rise slowly with a small amount of sugar and fiber vs. rising quickly with a large amount of sugar and fiber). rapid with the same amount of sugar but without the fiber) Making your own cookies with bran (insoluble fiber-rich cereal) might be the best option. or something) (yet another good one)

What is the average number of items in a shipment? I'm not paying $20 for a cookie; that's the price of a street drug, right?

This is the sixth I've seen. I thought the price of 74 dollars for a box was reasonable. They didn't send me a box of cookies; instead, they sent me a single cookie.

I'm curious how this compares to the Quest chocolatechip bar, as I was unable to complete that mission. ?

Our Chocolate Chip cookies are not the same as our Chocolate Chip bars. The cookie is soft and contains a large number of chocolate chips. It has recently become a huge hit.

It contains soluble corn fiber (maltodextrin), which is not keto-friendly
3/5

You'll be kicked out of ketosis if you consume these foods. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. I've been eating these for a few months and found the flavor to be adequate for a keto-friendly snack. I noticed I was having stomach problems but couldn't figure out what was causing them. I noticed soluble corn fiber when I looked at the ingredients more closely. Doesn't it appear to be innocuous? That's not the case! Maltodextrin is another name for it, which is a bad sugar substitute that I would never eat on purpose. It should be illegal for businesses to disguise harmful ingredients with innocent-sounding names. Also, if you're on a keto diet, be careful! Corn fiber that is soluble can cause you to lose weight and exit ketosis. Even though it has a lower glycemic index than some sweeteners, it is still a carbohydrate with no nutritional value that will raise blood sugar levels. This is a surefire way to store fat. And because it's not really fiber, when it's subtracted from the cookie's gross carbs, the net carbs appear to be a LOT lower than they are. Blood sugar levels will not be raised by fiber. SCF will. It seems unethical for businesses to promote foods as keto when they aren't, and to try to mislead customers about the presence of Maltodextrin in their products. I mean, it's only a buck, after all.

Mold? Webs of spiders? What exactly is going on here? This is what I found when I opened a cookie

These will be phased out in 2020.

What's the difference between bacteria and fungi? It is necessary to improve the quality! I've previously stated how much I enjoy these cookies, and I continue to do so! The regular cookies did not bother me at all
3/5

When I first opened the double fudge cookies, I noticed that four of the twelve had some strange white matter on the outer layer. These cookies are expensive, and I had to toss them out because I was worried about bacteria, fungi, mold, or any other organism that could grow on them. Because of the alarming amount of white matter on my cookies and the lack of quality control, I went back into my Amazon account and changed my initial rating of 5 stars to 2 stars. Before packing, the cookie's quality should be checked, and the "Best Buy" date should accurately reflect when it can be eaten. My cookies were purchased in September of 2018 and the "Best Buy" label was placed on them in March of 2019. To avoid losing more customers, I believe the company should take a more proactive approach to this product.

The size is impressive, but the flavor is abysmal, so it's a no-go
3/5

Because of the cookie's size, I gave it two stars. It is, without a doubt, a large cookie. But it tastes like dirt, and there isn't much sweetness to it. It has a bitter taste to it. To stomach it, I have to warm it up and spread it with peanut butter, and I eat everything. Is this a ketogenic diet? Yes. Is it enough to make you lose your appetite for the rest of the day? Yes. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. If you want to eat something tasty, stay away from this. If all you want is a good night's sleep, you've come to the right place. Go for it if you want a portioned "keto" snack. Alternatively, you could simply eat some grass. That would work as well and be more flavorful.

Carbohydrate aficionados, beware! NET Carbs vs
3/5

ACTUAL Carbs are counted separately. which weighs 4 g vs. 19 g There is a significant difference! That isn't right in any way. I'm not sure I'd mind if they tasted okay, but the Erythritol they use to sweeten it leaves a horrible aftertaste, which I strongly advise against.

Exceptional! I had intended to photograph the cookie for a review, but I ate it like a mother sneaking a cookie into the pantry while her toddler asks, "What are you doing, Mommy?" " The texture was similar to that of those soft-serve ice cream cones
5/5

Baked cookies in a red package (do they even make those anymore? ) & When I bit into it, it didn't crumble or spill. It wasn't as sweet as those soft-serve ice cream cones, but it was close. I'm not a huge fan of baked cookies, but they're a close second. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how good it was! Even so, I continue to consume high-sugar treats. I've noticed that reviews can be skewed because some people go for 9 months without eating sugar, carbs, or anything else before reviewing a cookie. I would strongly suggest these. Right now, I'm going to place an order for the chocolate chocolate chip cookies.

I used to be a slacker
5/5

Years as a carb eater, and it definitely helps with that sweet tooth craving when you're out and about or at home. To begin with, this cookie changed my life. I've always been a low-fat, low-carb eater, but this cookie changed my life. Years as a carb eater, and it definitely helps with that sweet tooth craving when you're out and about or at home. The macros are ideal for the objectives I'm attempting to achieve. Other protein cookies on the market, however, fall short in terms of flavor, marcos, and texture. The Quest cookies, in my opinion, nailed all three. Simply based on personal preference, this is probably my third favorite flavor out of the four available. Regardless, I'd eat any of the cookies to satisfy my protein/low-carbohydrate needs. While eating what feels like a cheat meal, you can satisfy your carb requirements. Thank you so much, Quest!.

Ugh! My guts!! I liked them a lot
3/5

I bought a lot of them and ate them a lot while I was on the road. They're great until the next day, when I experienced the worst gas and intestinal distress of my life, which lasted for days after I stopped eating them. Stay away from these if you want to do yourself a favor! Choose a more natural option. According to the reviews, I'm not the only one who has had this problem. Consumption of soluble corn fiber appears to be related to gastrointestinal distress - which can now be found in the majority of quest products.
