I was having the same issue, so I spoke with a "Vega Rep," and all they could say was, "It's weight." I argued the same point over and over, and the response was always the same: "Its weight." As I've previously stated, they appear to have sacrificed quality in the name of profit. This is a common practice nowadays. It's better to go with Nutiva or Organika because they're both organic!

These allegations date back to 2013! And I read an article with a lot of references about how this company uses fear mongering and how it affects their credibility, as well as how they have an incorrect understanding of science when they make such scary claims based on "their research. " Heavy metal claims have been made. It's a protein that comes from plants. As a result of the well plants, they naturally have "heavy metals. " Because of the biology of plants and their absorption of things from their soil, these minerals and metals are present in minuscule amounts in all plants. Eating your daily vegetables would provide you with the same amount of "heavy metals. " To put it another way, to get sick or poisoned from the "heavy metals," you'd have to eat a million servings of this in a single day. " The claims were ridiculous, and they didn't take into account how much food a person needs to become ill. If you have an intolerance or allergy to one of the ingredients in this product, it will not make you sick. So, if you have food intolerances or allergies, be a good human and read the ingredients. br>br>This is a plant-based protein powder that keeps me full and, thanks to the probiotics, has helped my tummy. It doesn't contain any soy. Yes, when you first get it, it only appears to be half full because it ships and the power settles. It still has the right number of servings (not more than that). I go through one of these every month because I use it as a breakfast replacement most days at work.
Based on review blogs and Amazon reviews, I was initially concerned that this would be a dud. However, as someone who hasn't tried many protein powders, I can say that this one tastes great. It tastes like a Starbucks green tea latte with a stevia sweetener aftertaste (which I understand why some people would dislike). I'm neither a fan nor a hater of the stevia aftertaste; it's very artificially sweet, but the actual flavor is pleasant; it's less vanilla and more yellow box cake-like in flavor. The texture, on the other hand, is exactly as described in reviews; it's chalky and doesn't mix well with any liquids I've tried so far. 2% milk, whole milk, soy milk, almond milk all leave large dusty clumps even when stirring in a little at a time.
One thing to ignore are% I took several samples to my university's labs and had them tested by my chemistry professor, who said there was no reason to believe the claims were true. Also, if you google clean label project, you'll find Forbes articles pointing out how they don't reveal how or what methodologies they used, what they discovered, and basically have no transparency for a company that claims to be transparent. It's unclear whether they're self-funded or have corporate backing. To cut a long story short, ignore anyone who tries to scare you into doing business with that shady firm.
It's past time for a bulk version of this to be released. Every year, they grew in price. With their 20 serving jugs, I was about to stop buying after my current supply ran out due to cost, but then I saw this. This lowers the price significantly. br>The flavor is acceptable. This is something I buy because it is dairy-free. and soy- free.
I'm not allergic to anything, and I don't have a sensitive stomach. Years ago, I had no problems using the old formula. If it's going to make you run to the bathroom an hour after each drink, it should come with a money-back guarantee. I'm in a lot of pain.
) The labeling's copyright expires in 2017br>br>The container I ordered a few months ago and just finished drinking has a 2022 expiration date! The labeling has a copyright expiration date of 2019.
I'll leave if you don't return it. I like the old 'non-' phrase better. formula that is organic I was a long-time customer, but I will not purchase this product again, not only because of the formula, but also because of the taste.
I hadn't purchased this in years, and I'm disappointed with how bad it now tastes. Stevia is overpoweringly sweet, and no matter what you mix it with, it's all you can taste. So gross.
When compared to traditional protein powders, it is healthier. However, there are a few points I'd like to bring up: It's grainy, which is to be expected, but grainy all the same lol. I'm not sure why, but this caused me to bloat excessively. Maybe I drank too much. br>It's pricey, but based on the comparison, I'm sure it's worth it to someone!.
