Yes, this is possible. That's how I go about doing things. It's a little gritty, but if you use more water, it'll be better. For 3 tbls, I use 30 oz. By the way, it has a nutty flavor. The flavor is something I enjoy.
Visit Nutiva's website to learn more about their hemp seeds, which are cold processed below 104 degrees and then sifted to produce protein powder.
No, there isn't any sugar in it. The package's front reads, " Hemp is all there is. There are no artificial ingredients in this product. The following is a list of the ingredients: Hemp protein that is 100% organic. Hexane, soy, dairy, lactose, and sweeteners are not present in this product. Maybe my taste buds aren't the same as someone else's, but it doesn't taste particularly sweet to me. Of course, I make a smoothie out of it with whatever fruits or vegetables I have on hand and water. Although the hemp powder adds a light greenish brown color to the smoothie, it has no discernible taste. It helps me get more protein and is inexpensive when compared to other vegan protein powders.
As of February 9, 2015, the answer is yes. Though it didn't appear to be resealable prior to this.

" This side of the 30 oz. packaging is not shown in the product images, and nothing in the product description mentions this warning. I'm not sure why this warning is on a hemp protein product, but after reading it on the packaging, I'm not going to eat Nutiva's hemp.
We like the product quality, but the second shipment was short of the powdered protein product as compared to the first shipment. We transferred the second shipment of the product into the same size container as we did with the first shipment and we could easily see that approximately of the powdered% We're confident that the shipper did not do this on purpose, as they only reship products made by others. We hope the shipper sees this and gets in touch with us so that we can complete the transaction.
Nutiva is (was) one of my favorite brands. And I use several of their products on a regular basis. br>br>Please be aware that the label displayed on Amazon is not the same as the label on the product that is delivered. br>br>Note: br>More caloric intake! br>No longer says "No Hexane"br>br>I contacted customer service, who responded quickly but only said "sorry for the inconvenience. "br>br>Not a great way to treat a customer, is it?.
All we have to do now is locate another hemp protein powder. We gave it a 4-star rating before. Despite the fact that it was a five-star product, it was still described as grainy. That appears to be worsening over time (we've ordered it several times). I'm getting a new one delivered tomorrow as part of my subscription, but I'm not going to open it and will return it after our experience with the current bag. It's just too grainy, and our smoothies taste completely different with it than without it (and are noticeably smoother). Nutiva, I bid you farewell. I'll be generous and award you a 3-star rating. We gave it a four-star rating because most of the other brands we tried were similarly grainy. We won't have to switch to another type of protein if there is a much smoother brand of hemp protein available.
This hemp protein powder has been a staple in my diet for a long time. Unlike typical protein powders that contain sweeteners and other added ingredients to make the average person enjoy the sweet flavored taste, this is a basic pure plant protein for those who want absolute purity and are unconcerned about how it tastes. On Amazon, I read reviews of protein powders that said this or that product tasted awful. This hemp organic protein falls short for most people if they buy a protein supplement for taste, but for those who believe that health benefits are the most important factor, this hemp organic protein is perfect. It does not have a bad flavor; it is slightly grassy due to the fact that it is a plant. Because hemp protein does not mix well with liquids (requires repeated stirring if used as a drink enhancer), it's ideal for mixing into other foods like oatmeal or granola. It's also ideal for those who want to make a vegan "meatloaf" dinner, as it can be used as a base for organic plant-based protein. a protein that is based on As a vegan bodybuilder, I place a premium on product quality at all times. This hemp protein is available in 3 pound increments. For end-of-year storage, I prefer bags to large plastic jars. Use disposal (large plastic protein jars are not recyclable in my area, so they end up in landfills). This is an excellent product for people who are more concerned about their health than a tasty treat; the value for money is quite high when compared to many comparable protein powders.
I've ordered the largest size of this protein a few times now, so I'm confident in my ability to provide an accurate review. br>br>Overall, it's fantastic and has been extremely useful to me. The taste is terrible on its own, and if you're giving this product a low rating solely because of the taste, you clearly didn't do your homework before ordering. This protein is made up of only one amino acid. Organic hemp protein is one of the main ingredients, and as a result, it has great macros and no filler. Most people who want to add a significant amount of protein to their diet would have to eat a lot of this stuff on its own, but I combine it with a healthy serving of chocolate whey in the same shaker cup to increase the protein content. This significantly reduces the hemp's flavor while retaining some of its earthiness (my whey is stevia-sweetened). Sweetened (which, while better than aspartame, is still not a great taste) and also provides a better nutrient profile than plain whey. br>br>I rely on this protein to help me meet my exercise nutrition goals, and it more than lives up to the hype; I can't say enough good things about it.
Non- It's possible that the airtight packaging played a role. The product I received has started to smell rancid. For the past month, I've been taking hemp protein every day. Because of the lower price, I decided to try this product; however, it smells like composting grass and is a pale green rather than the vibrant green I expected. Furthermore, after only three or four servings, I became extremely ill for two days. The other brand of hemp protein, on the other hand, that I'd been taking every day for the past month had never made me feel ill. br>br>The packaging design could have played a role in the product's deterioration. There is a leak in the bag. Despite the fact that I immediately placed it in the refrigerator after opening it for the first time, the product appeared to have started to spoil.
