This is not a problem for me. I combine frozen berries, frozen banana, and milk in a blender. It tastes like a shake, and it's very easy to drink. If it needs to be thinned, add more liquid. This is one of my favorite flavors.
0 grams. The previous responses are incorrect; standard spirutein weighs 8 grams, and this product is unsweetened. Take a look at the label image.
Yes. I even wrote to the company, expressing my dissatisfaction with the addition of oligo fructose to the original spiru tein that I had been taking on a daily basis for over ten years. This one is fine, and you can get fructose at a health food store and add 8 grams per serving to the powder, which works perfectly. The unsweetened version, on the other hand, is significantly more expensive than the regular version.
As a customer, I am unable to verify.

I'm drinking unsweetened vanilla spirulina. tein is important because it provides vitamins and protein. I enjoy the flavor because I dislike sweet drinks and artificial sweeteners of any kind. So finding one that isn't sweetened makes me very happy. I make a custard out of it, add some chia seeds, and eat it with a spoon, followed by a glass of water. It bothers me that it costs more than the sweetened flavors.
Stevia makes me feel sick and gives me headaches, so I can't use it. After that, I came across this. I just add my almond milk and a tablespoon of maple syrup to it, which is fine. This would be great with some berries or bananas if I were more ambitious and got out my blender, but I'm not there yet. If you're looking for a protein powder that isn't sweetened with stevia, this is the one to get. I wish there were more flavors like vanilla and chocolate available from this company, but I can live with it.
Spirutein (remember Spirutein Green?) was a drug that I used to be addicted to. For a long time, it was the only vegan brand available in my area. I got away from it and went straight to Spirutein when I decided to start adding protein powders to my smoothies again. Because I don't want my other ingredients to be overpowered by a strong flavor, I chose Natural Vanilla. That was exactly what I was looking for - Because it's unsweetened, my fruit or green juice didn't make it too sweet, but it did add a hint of vanilla to the mix. However, the recipe has changed because after blending, my smoothie looks 'whipped. ' It's not a very appealing appearance. Even though I reduced the scoop size, the dough still has a yeasty bread dough texture. Although the taste was unaffected, I was unable to consume something that appeared to be sour. I've tucked it away in the back of the cabinet while I experiment with different brands.
I've been buying this product for years, usually in the form of chocolate, and I really enjoy it. This is the first time I've tried it; it dissolves easily and tastes great with some water, berries, and ice cubes. And it's all good. Because it is unsweetened, I do add some stevia. Chocolate and sweetened vanilla are still my favorites.
It's exactly what it says on the tin: It is unsweetened. It mixes best in very cold liquid, just like the other spirutein powders. I mix almond milk, water, and ice in a blender bottle and shake it. I use agave syrup to sweeten it. For some reason, this one includes a 50cc scoop. A 60cc scoop is included with all of the other powders. Why am I not sure?.
This is great, and I've been using it for a long time. I'm guessing it'll be somewhere between 20 and 30 years. I like that it doesn't contain whey because I don't eat dairy, and it's also not sweetened. I've only ever used this in a fruit smoothie made in a blender, so I can't comment on mixing it with milk or water. I use diluted white grape juice because I don't like the taste of milk or even almond, rice, or other types of milk in smoothies, though I know a lot of people do. My recipe includes frozen raspberries, blueberries, peaches, and a little fresh banana, a little spinach (which you can't taste), and I use diluted white grape juice because I don't like the taste of milk or even almond, rice, or other types of milk in smoothies. I've always used the vanilla, but after reading some positive feedback on the chocolate, I think I'll give it a try. The vanilla always reminds me of cake batter! I've always liked the taste, and I like that it contains a lot of vitamins, spirulina, and fiber.
Great shipping, but the amounts are not what they appear to be. If you look at the picture, you'll see what I mean. Other than that, it's a great product that I love. It's low in carbs, high in vitamins, and low in sugar, and the best part is that it doesn't contain gluten, which can cause damage to your intestine, stomach, and organs. Please continue to educate yourself and be aware that food in this country is extremely perilous.
This product's lack of sweetener appeals to me. Every morning, I make a smoothie- breakfast for me-- Soy milk, blueberries, and a banana go well together with this powder. Occasionally, a pinch of canned apricot is added. This provides me with a well-rounded, nutrient-dense start to the day. It's also a lot less work than standing over a stove, boiling eggs, and so on.
