Product Description
Questions & Answers
It originated in the United States of America.
Hemp hearts are a protein powder that can be added to any of these meals; I assume you're referring to hot cooked cereals like oat meal, wheat or corn farina, and so on. If you're not avoiding dairy, you could use soy or almond milk to add moisture, or plain low fat or nonfat yoghurt.
It has a taste that is bland and unremarkable. It wouldn't dissolve in it because of the high oil content. It is delivered as a sesame-sized seed. To become powdery, it must be finely ground.
To be certified organic, your product must be free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It's a requirement set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Most plant-based proteins I've tried are gritty and difficult to mix. br>br>This blends in nicely. I've been making smoothies with water, a banana, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and a generous sprinkling of cinnamon. It tastes good, and it gives me a sense of well-being as well as a mental rush. It's as if it adores it. br>br>I really like it, and I'll keep using it even if I don't go vegan. No other protein powder has ever made me feel as good as this one.
As a result, it's impossible to have 2 grams of total carbohydrate and 3 grams of fiber. Without accurate carbohydrate counts, I am unable to use this product.
I've tried a few other plant-based protein powders, and they all have an earthy, "green" flavor to them. Not this. This is in my usual smoothie, and I don't notice it at all. It's as if I'm sipping on a banana milkshake. Also works well in the kitchen. It's ideal for anyone switching from whey to plant-based powders. It'd be fantastic for kids as well. The price is reasonable, and I appreciate the minimal packaging.
This item is no longer available. Because of the added fat, it now contains 130 calories per serving, up from 100 previously. It now has 18 grams of protein per serving, down from 22 grams previously. There is no magnesium in it any longer. It must have been processed differently because it used to be an off white powder and is now light green or tan. I'm not sure why Get Chia changed their processing methods.
a complete protein supplement that is based on whey protein This item fulfills all of my requirements. I prefer plant-based protein and like that this is a complete protein with fiber and good fats. It doesn't have a strong taste and it's fine enough to mix right into water, smoothies, or whatever you want. This is what I use in plain water with Amazing Greens superfood powder. Because I don't eat breakfast, I shake it up and drink it first thing in the morning to get a jump start. Years ago, I used a different brand of hemp protein that had a very strong taste, but this one doesn't, which I prefer - It's difficult to come across something that isn't flavored or sweetened with stevia. I also like that it comes in a large bag and is reasonably priced compared to similar items I've seen.
The taste is neutral, it mixes well, and it comes in a large quantity for a reasonable price, but the zipper is a little shaky, which makes me nervous. Aside from that, it's perfect, and it blends well with other protein powders.
This protein powder, on the other hand, is outstanding! Every day, I put it in my coffee, and I don't even notice it! I'm full for the majority of the day because of it. It's a fantastic item.
" This Hemp heart protein is far superior to what you can buy in the store. Less fiber (but still a good amount) and a much better flavor! I'll buy it again and again!.
