When Purchasing them, make sure you schedule them for the 12th month I find that buying a pack of 10 from Amazon is much cheaper than purchasing one at my favorite coffee shop several times each.
These have been hard to chew for a long time, but suddenly they seem to have lost their good texture. As soon as I received a box with hard chewies, I thought maybe it was a bad batch, but I received more boxes a few months apart and they are still hard. This kind of food was a fav of mine, but I can't keep eating them if they hurt my teeth and are hard to chew. It was kind of hard to taste, like overcooked! As an example, I would say that the texture is similar to the texture you will get from cooking something with sugar syrup too long.
I have been buying these bars for a long time and recently noticed that they are no longer the same size. When ordering from Amazon, the consistency of the bar varies dramatically as well. There were many crumbles and cracks in the last order of peanut butter/jelly bars. There are a lot of bars in the area I'm dissatisfied with. It is possible that orders will stop altogether.
Thank you so much for posting these! This is a much better price than I was able to find in the one store I could find them. It is a pleasure to eat them. This is especially true for the peanut butter chocolate. I do have a No Bake/Top of the Stove element to the recipe. The bars here are great, where as most health bars I am unable to eat due to food allergies.

As soon as I received my package, it was smooshed. Since it was sealed with a sticker at the front, I assumed that it was good to go. Two bars were missing from the box when I opened it. There are no cheap bars here so it gets frustrating.
I was surprised by how well they turned out. Our sampler came in just the right size and we are anxious to try more Their appearance may suggest they are tough and dry, however, they are soft and full of sweetness.
