This is one of several supplements I take daily to help control my blood pressure. Without the use of medication, I am able to maintain a healthy blood pressure.
When I emptied my bottle, I discovered that all of the capsules were wet and not powdered. I had to toss out my entire week's worth of medications and supplements because I had no idea what they were contaminated with. These were $40 and I'm 9 days past my return window. 00 in addition to the rest of my medications! I'm not happy at all.
I used three pills in total (one per day). On the third day, I began to feel sick to my stomach and nauseous, which became increasingly worse. I wasn't sure it was the pills at first, but when the nausea became unbearable and I didn't take anything else, I figured it had to be. I did some research and discovered that L- is correct. Supplements containing carnitine can cause stomach upset and nausea, among other things. After I stopped taking the pills, my sick feeling gradually faded. I've squandered my money and now have to dispose of them.

I take a lot of NOW supplements, but this one gives me a headache, nausea, and the shakes, despite the fact that I haven't had any problems with other brands. I was let down.
Supplement with carnitine. This was the type of L- I needed to start taking. Carnitine has exceeded my expectations, and this product has done so as well. The value for money is excellent, as is the quality.
A doctor recommended carnitine to me. He only has a few approved manufacturers on his list, and this is one of them. I was born with post-polio syndrome and a crooked (but wonderful) heart. It has helped to alleviate a significant amount of muscle fatigue. If I run out and have to go without it for a while, I'm sure I'll notice.
My dog's veterinarian suggested the NOW brand as a good supplement. It's given to dogs who don't get enough L-arginine in their diet. Carnitine is a supplement that helps to keep your heart in good shape.
