It doesn't feel like I have an energy boost or anything, but I notice that I am not as tired or as exhausted as I usually am. I consider these energy chews an important part of my long distance running routine (I expect to take some carbohydrates on a long run for at least 10 miles). They're my least favorite energy chew of the ones I've tried so far. What's the reason? In one bag of these Bolt Organic Energy Chews, there are 180 calories (2 servings), which is a lot of calories for what you get (about 10 chews). Jelly Belly Sports Beans and Gatorade energy chews both come in 100 calorie sizes. ), but at 10 mile runs, that is overkill for one package, and the rest don't stay sealed. Although these are absolutely fine, I prefer the taste of Honey Stinger Beans I find that these chews stick to my teeth too much, so they are a big problem for me. These stick the most to my teeth and annoy me the most out of all the energy chews I have tried. To be fair to this product, I have only used it at temperatures between 32 and 60 degrees. The temperature can be as low as 35 deg F, so they may do better at warm temperatures. Other than that, these energy chews are great. I used them on my 14 mile run this past week without having any cramping issues or bonking issues. These do contain Vitamin C, B6, and B12 as well as electrolytes - which is nice. Although they are not my favorite energy chew (I love Sports Beans, and I would put Honey Stingers in second place), I will continue to use them on long distance runs if the price is affordable. I might order more and try other flavors if they are available at sufficient price.

The packets of electrolytes are lightweight, so I don't have to be concerned about extra weight and mess when carrying them around. There are no dyes in these and I like that they are organic. As of the time of delivery, the Amazon Box was intact. All the other items in the box were perfectly organized in their original packaging when I opened the box. A pack of ProBar was missing from the ProBar box, which was ripped open! The purchase of 12 was for 11, but only 11 were received. I'm fine, thanks. My suspect must have become hungry while packing my box, so they had to secretly hide their crimes by eating energy gels. Food items policies do not allow me to return the items, so I attempted to do so, but was refused.
