It has a high rate of defects and will not charge. We bought this and tried to use it, but it wouldn't work or would not recharge. It is either a bad switch or something else. I believe these are warrantied, but how long do you keep the packaging? It would have been wise for me to pay attention to the other user's review, who told me that theirs would be free. The replacement was a pain, but at least it was replaced To make sure it works in person, I'm going to the toy shop next time to make sure it is a good toy.

You cannot charge it if you do not want to. I got about 5 minutes of use out of the wand. Does not charge when plugged in and will only charge for a short period of time when it is still working. Would have liked this product to work but it can't be returned for the price. Will try to return it.
