I decided to give these a shot because of the hormonal options available. br>br>I'm in a semi-relationship with my boyfriend. We're in a long-distance relationship, so we don't have sex every day, but we've been using these as our sole method of birth control for the past six months. br>br>It took me a few tries to get used to inserting it, and I have to fold it an extra time or it will dissolve and stick to my finger before I can get it near my cervix, but now that I've practiced, it's a breeze. br>br>Sex is a wonderful thing! So far, there haven't been any pregnancies. Others have reported painful side effects, but neither my boyfriend nor I have experienced any itching, burning, or other discomfort. br>br>I used these twice in my last fertile window (one the day before I ovulated) and have yet to get pregnant! br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with this product; it does run for a while afterward, and the fifteen-minute wait can be difficult at times, but it's worth it for the organic, intimate feel. In addition, there are no hormones, which is a plus. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be Make certain you're aware of your cervix's location. This is a cervix cover! And then you must wait for the entire fifteen minutes. Yes, it's inconvenient, but there are plenty of sexier ways to spend fifteen minutes.
I would strongly suggest it! For the past three years, we've been using the same item.
They work, but I got an awful UTI after using them for a week straight and having sex multiple times a day. My pH was also severely affected. We did not get pregnant, however, because we did not use any other type of birth control.
However, the unfortunate side effect of these was that they numbed my fiance's and my stuff for at least 5 minutes. I also left it up in there for about an hour beforehand, and it then gave me a mild yeast episode (which I believe it says it will do in the fine print). br>They're also a little difficult to remove from your finger once inside, but because I'm not pregnant, I give them a 4 out of 5 star rating.
Insertion is difficult. This isn't working. If you're truly trying to avoid pregnancy, I wouldn't recommend it.
" br>It's almost as effective at preventing pregnancy and far more discreet, with the added benefit of being a more natural sexual experience, if you catch my drift.
The film has a plastic-like feel to it, but don't let that put you off. It almost instantly dissolves once it's in the body. The trick is to get it all the way up to your cervix in one go without having it stick to your finger. You won't feel anything once it's in, and your partner won't either. The only drawback is that getting ready to go takes about 15 minutes. However, this is an excellent opportunity for some foreplay.
These are absolutely incredible! There's no mess, it's simple to use when the time comes (even if it's on the spur of the moment), and it's effective! The best find of all time.
