Well, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. It didn't work for a while. It had a habit of going overboard. Heat at a medium setting. It was utilized in the following ways: Since mid-August, I've been doing it twice a week for about 15 minutes each time. br>br>It just died yesterday. It took three months to complete. It was a total waste of money.
It's brand new and hasn't been used yet. Returns, replacements, and refunds are not accepted by Amazon. I was told to contact the manufacturer, which I did for days and received no response other than to go through the retailer I bought from.
Kudos for lasting just long enough to be unreturnable - That is some incredible engineering. While it lasted, it was quite enjoyable - That was not a long sentence. It has a 30-day return policy, but I've had it for about 45 days and it is no longer charging. lemon.
I bought this wand after the motor on my old Hitachi burned out (it lasted a long time). (It's been put to a lot of good use. ) This wand has been in my possession for over three years and continues to function as it did when I first received it. I've had no problems using it for 30 minutes twice a week on average. It's best to use it unplugged and charge it in between uses, then unplug it when the red light turns green. Also, all you need to clean it is a clean damp cloth. If you get water in the motor, it won't last long!br>br>Like any rechargable item, you should only leave it plugged in until the red light turns green to indicate that it's fully charged. It shouldn't be left plugged in all the time. If you don't charge it, it will eventually lose some power, but if you charge it to a green light after each use, it will be ready for you the next time and will work just fine. You can use it while plugged in if you forget to charge it, but it gets very hot very quickly (probably not good for the motor life).
After just one use, it's well worth the money. About once a year, one of these is worn out by my wife. They become too noisy after a long period of time of heavy use. We have a corded one as a backup, but the silicone head and speed controls on the cordless are far better. Also, my wife does not follow the best recharging practices, which can cause some performance issues. My wife must have had more climaxes the first time she used it than she had in the previous 55 years.
