Thank you for getting in touch. This product has been used on a variety of items, including coats, coolers, and drysuits. There's no reason it shouldn't work on your Yeti Cooler, in my opinion! Thank you, Your HouseofScuba Team. br>br>
A brass zipper isn't something I'd want to change the color of. The waxy nature of the product allows it to bind with dust and become soiled. Expect a little visible wax here and there because it's waxy.

Returning is not worth the trouble. I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to make it easier to open and close zippers that weren't smooth. This product seemed to work well for me. It doesn't make the zipper any worse, and it does seem to smooth out the majority of the zippers I tried it on. On the downside, the lube stick is similar to a Chapstick in that the contents of the tube can be extended and retracted by turning the bottom knob. Even if you press on the wax to force it back in, the Gear Aid Zipper Stick wax does not retract once you extend it out, which surprised me. In addition, I received two of the soft wax. I ordered two 5 oz tubes for the hard wax. Keep this in mind when extending the wax from the tube; it will save you some extra mess. 16 oz tubes) and they both do not retract; keep this in mind when extending the wax from the tube. I went with a different brand (Shurhold Snap-On). That one extends AND retracts (stick). Returning the item is not worthwhile for me. This is the last time I'll buy from this vendor.
rain boots made in Texas This product (which has a lip balm-like consistency) gets on your hands as you apply it to zippers. Even in its applicator form, it's mushy and messy. It also gets on the boots, staining the area around the zippers. If it were in a small tube, it might be less messy. I wouldn't use this on anything you don't want to be stained. And, even after a few uses, I can't tell if the zippers are any easier to slide up and down. Given the numerous positive reviews, this was a disappointment and a waste of money.
When it comes to stubborn zippers, this product is a godsend. My Barbour Bedale wax jacket has always had a stiff and difficult-to-use double zipper. I've tried a variety of "home remedies" over the years, including graphite and candle wax, but none of them have worked. I finally realized my error and began looking for a professional product on Amazon, where I discovered the Zip Tech. When it arrived, I followed the instructions, and my old Barbour zipper worked like new again, as if by magic.
It's ridiculously simple to use, and it only takes two swipes to get the job done. The zipper lube restores the smooth operation of your crinkly zippers. as if it were the day it was made It didn't fix my skipped tooth zipper, so I'll have to unzip the window completely to get it fixed. It's not magic, but it does a fantastic job of rejuvenating old zippers. In the last four years, I haven't done anything with my zippers. After 5 years, they were as good as new.
This one was significantly shorter and more difficult to use than the previous one. As I try to lubricate a zipper, the stick, which is smaller than the container, keeps trying to go back into its shell, forcing me to stop and guide it back out. It's a huge pain. I'll keep looking for something that I can use more effectively, especially in front of a customer who is waiting.
This product was used, and the result was. . . FREEDOM! No snagging, no snagging, no snagging, no snagging, no s WIN WIN!.
Somebody in this shop reasoned that by selling distressed items on the internet, they'd be able to unload them. This item's package was mangled after it was opened. I would have chosen another of the same item if I had seen it in a physical store. (We'd all do it. ) Unless it was specifically marked down, you'd pass over the opened gizmo and select the untamperedbr>Item (as you would in Home Depot, where you'd pass over the opened gizmo and select the untamperedbr>Item). As a result, the vendor either buys these rejects on the cheap or recycles them. br>At first, I thought the product packaging had been tampered with in the mail because it was sent in a bag rather than a box. (It doesn't matter to me how they put it in. ) It irritates me when a vendor unloads items that have already been opened. I examined the top of the product carefully to see if the wax head had been used. Because I couldn't tell, I decided to keep it and let it go. br>br>The product itself is fine, but the delivery was a letdown.
My only gripe is that the mechanism for moving the wax forward is a little finicky, so you'll have to learn how to use it and be careful while doing so. That, as well as preventing people from mistaking it for chapstix.
