It's just corn starch, says everyone. Is it necessary for me to purchase it, or should I purchase a box of cornstarch instead?

It's literally just cornstarch in a fancy, tiny container

Cornstarch in a fancy and very small container is literally all it is. At the grocery store, it would cost you 50 cents or less.

It only requires a light dusting! I'm not sure how long the powder will last in this container because it's small

However, I now own a gravy-making machine. In a convenient plastic shaker bottle, combine all of the ingredients.
