This was a huge help for my science project; I'm not much of a baker, and I was trying to make a rocket cake, and luckily I came across this mold. (I'd never heard of the Peter Rocket before. ) It was a big hit at the JPL bash. I had no idea why so many people were laughing at my rocket cake (but they did enjoy it and said it was very moist).
This was purchased for a bachelorette party for a friend of mine. It had been fantastic. But first, a few cooking suggestions. I ordered the two-pack of the largest size. Each pan should only have one box of mix. Using Bakers Joy, coat the insides of each pan. I folded some aluminum foil to place under the balls on the oven rack, just enough to spread the batter a little more evenly throughout the shaft. It works like a charm. For 45 minutes, I baked. Each pan will take 50 minutes to cook. Allow to cool completely before icing on parchment paper. br>Using white icing, make flesh-colored icing. To make a greenish brown, combine equal parts red and green in a separate bowl. To make pink, combine red and a small amount of water in another bowl. Mix the brown into the white a little at a time, alternating with the pink, until you achieve the desired flesh color. br>I got a lot of compliments on my weiner cake, but the screams of delight made it all worthwhile!br>Side note: The pans were easy to clean after I finished baking, and they're ready to use again the next time I need a dong cake. They could've also been used to make a cool jello mold or chip bowls.
What a fantastic skillet! It was a success. It took about a box and a half of cake mix to fill it. Because it takes a long time to cook through, use the Bundt cake cooking times as a guide. At my daughter's party, we had a lot of fun with the cakes.
For the price, I expected it to be extremely flimsy, especially since there were two of them. It had a long life span! It only took one boxed cake mix to get the job done. It would have boiled over if there had been any more. Cooking time for my cake was around 35 minutes. The shaft was done in 25 minutes, but the balls were still jiggly. I sprayed the pan well with cooking spray before pouring in the mix. It was simple to empty and extremely clean! I used it as a "bowl" for chips because it was so clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a penis-shaped cake for a party!.
Disposable frying pans are very nice. The only drawback is their frailty. They're flimsy and thin. When we picked up the cake pan, it began to bend and the batter almost oozed out all over the oven, so we had to set it on a cookie sheet. It's not a bad deal, but keep in mind that these are almost certainly DISPOSABLE pans, and you won't be able to reuse them. If you took EXTREME caution while baking, you can use them later.
The product itself is extremely flimsy and low-quality. Furthermore, the seller is unresponsive and has refused to issue a refund due to the seller's lateness in shipping. I will never buy this product or deal with this seller again.
I made enough batter for a 9x13 pan and divided it evenly between the two pans.
