I debated whether or not to post this review because the issue for which I purchased the KY is a fairly personal one. But it was beneficial to me - a lot. As a result, I'm posting this in the hopes that the information will be useful to others (with the caveat that I am not a physician and that you should always seek medical advice - preferably an expert - prior to attempting anything) Please bear with me as I explain the backstory, which is relevant to the purchase as well as how and how much the KY assisted me. br>br>I had two stage-three hemorrhoids removed. In April of this year (2016), I had four external hemorrhoids and one internal hemorrhoid. I first saw an MD (rather than a colorectal specialist, as I should have been seeing to begin with - learn as you go). The surgery resulted in some complications. For at least 30 minutes after each bowel movement, I would feel a stinging sensation (pain scale of six or seven on a ten-point scale). Despite proper cleaning and pain medication, the stinging continued. After three months of this, I'm ready to give up. Despite trying a variety of salves and home remedies, and after the original surgeon seemed to have no explanation for the significant amount of pain I was in other than "this shouldn't be happening at this point, keep doing what you're doing and you should heal in time" - I'm still in pain. I sought the advice of a colorectal surgeon for a second opinion. Because of the original surgery, I had a deep, chronic anal fissure that was healing, tearing, and healing again, according to the colorectal surgeon (who turned out to be a Godsend). as well as the possibility of a fistula Only a visual inspection was used to make this determination. Internal inspection was not possible due to the severity of the pain. He pointed out that surgery is almost always a last resort (as it should have been in the first place), but both issues would almost certainly require surgery to resolve. Nonetheless, he wanted to rule out all other options before returning to surgery. So, in the hopes of allowing me to heal enough to check things internally, he told me I needed to take Metamucil, increase my fiber intake, drink a lot more water, take sitz baths to promote healing, stop using salves and home remedies (as they often cause more harm than good), and. . . dab KY Jelly on the open wound before and after bowel movements. He claimed that the KY would protect the wound during bowel movements and that it would be easier to clean. It would be easier to clean up, and it would keep the wound from being exposed to the air and other elements associated with that area. An older country doctor (but a wise man in his own right) told me that this area is designed to heal itself if properly cared for. Surprisingly, I found nothing in all of my research over the last few months (and I did a lot of research) that suggested using KY for this purpose. While we eventually agreed that I needed surgery to correct the problem (which turned out to be the best decision I've ever made), the KY Jelly was a-okay. zing for the duration of the procedure (both before and after the second surgery)! It helped me with bowel movements in ways I never expected, and it allowed me to sit down afterward. You don't realize how delicate the area is when it's wounded and healing unless you've been through it. If you've been through it or are currently going through it, I truly sympathize with you. The Kentucky provided me with a great deal of relief. br>br>Is it a good idea to buy it? I'm not a doctor, so don't expect me to give you any medical advice. I'm not qualified to give medical advice; all I did was share my personal experience. Each individual is unique. Your outcomes may differ. Before attempting anything, always seek the advice of a physician (preferably a specialist). However, the KY did exactly what my colorectal surgeon predicted - it helped me get rid of my colon cancer. I never thought I'd be able to provide relief. I thank him and KY for that, and I have no reservations in recommending it for this use.
This was a dud! My wife and I had tried other brands and assumed KY would be the best, but we were wrong! It was the worst! It's so difficult to get an honest opinion on certain products because you wonder if competitors aren't simply writing negative reviews of each other to skew the ratings. In my honest opinion, this lube started out nice and enjoyable for about 2 minutes, then it became super sticky and lost all viscosity after about 5 minutes. We had to keep reapplying, and the situation only got worse. We chose Kentucky because it is a well-known state. I have to say that the other lubes we tried far outperformed this one, and they weren't even that good! I'm not going to mention any other lubes to try or use any other shady tactics in order to keep this a fair review. This is precisely what transpired in our situation. We'll use what we have, but we won't buy it again, and I wouldn't recommend it.
It goes on for a long time, almost as long as our bonding time. I would strongly suggest this product to anyone who enjoys entering and exiting businesses through the back door. The two-for-one deal offered by Amazon on this product is excellent, and the shipping was prompt. I ordered the product on Thursday morning at 6 a. m. , and it arrived by noon the next day, making for a long alphabet-themed weekend. br>br>Best of luck to everyone.
I guess we'll have to put in some serious effort if we want to finish two tubes!.
K Y jelly is on sale for a great price. It may be a little thick or dry after a short period of time. Open the tube and squeeze out any excess air (if any) to improve consistency and lubricity. Then, while still holding the tube squeezed, place it under the tap with a thin trickle of water and slowly relax your grip. Water will be drawn in quickly, and after a few shakes with the top on, your lube will be super slippery, similar to K Y liquid. I've done this with tubes that appeared to be empty but actually had enough lube to provide additional lube when diluted with water. I go through a lot in my life.
Other water-based versions that are much less expensive and work just as well have been discovered. I'm not going to buy it again.
This product helped to'save the day' when I was having a minor hormonal issue. or evening, as the case may be. ) I was a little worried because I've been allergic to a lot of things lately, but this doesn't bother me at all and has a very natural feel to it.
My first review was turned down because it was inappropriate. I didn't get it dirty, but it's a sex product. ,,,,,,,,, Anyway, as the title suggests, this product is simply not working for me. It works too well, then does the exact opposite without the use of water. Unless you're sleeping beside a glass of water, it's far too messy for sex. You will not be able to return it, so keep that in mind. It was a waste of money.
