I used to use an abrasive exfoliant because I thought it was necessary to remove the dead skin cells. My skin, however, is becoming more sensitive, and this product was extremely gentle. It foamed up and felt more like a soap than an exfoliant, but it left my skin feeling silky smooth. I'm currently considering other items from this company.

This item was first purchased at a home shopping show many years ago. It's paired with Tatcha cleansing oil for me. After the oil has broken down the makeup and dirt, polish with this rice polisher. The oil cleanses and moisturizes your skin, while the polisher removes an extra layer of skin from your face, leaving it smooth, fresh, and radiant. It has removed all discoloration from acne scars, as well as my brown spots over time. At first, I used it every day, but I now prefer the way my skin looks when I use it three times a week.
