Based on my own experience, I can only speak for myself. The razor has been on my face for more than a year and still works just fine. As a high school senior, I followed all of the instructions to stroke blades in the palm of my hand. Since I have been using this item for about half a year, I have no complaints. My old one was getting dull, so I got a new Then I watched their 'how to' video and realized that I was trying to use it incorrectly. The way I was cutting the hair was quite long, so it wasn't getting cut My main problem is putting off shaving too long because I hate it. Since it is difficult to cut hair with any razor when it is longer, I do not find any fault with the product in that regard. Although I recommend you watch their video and use what they recommend, I also recommend watching it and using it as they suggest. I have found it to be the best way to shave my head so far.
