Questions & Answers

Is this razor capable of shaving super long "I'm lazy because it's winter" wookie hairs?

I have to confess that I am related to Sasquatch in some way. I'm a curvy 52-year-old woman who loves it! With my fur, I am back in style. kidding. My husband will not assist me in the construction of a jungle bridge. I purchased this a few years ago and had been using it for quite some time. The most perfect lady razor ever. I recently discovered the trimmer, which had been left behind on a road trip. I'm not joking when I say there's a lot of thick hair all over the place. I keep telling my new husband that it is well worth the money, that it lasts for years, that it also works on my face, and that I won't use anything else to shave with. I have extremely sensitive skin, and even the thought of something that would or could irritate it causes me to break out. That has never happened before! Breakout has a bump or nic on it. I'm getting ready to buy a new one. I'm hoping they don't charge you for it or stop producing it. I have folds and can't reach, so the pink and white is the only one that will work for me. At 220 pounds and 6 feet tall, he is a formidable opponent. The most effective beauty tool ever. Never in my life have I felt more enticing.

Is it suitable for the removal of hair from the underarms?

This is why I bought this shaver in the first place. With a regular in-shower razor, I get nasty razor burn and discoloration. As an example, I had to wait three days. It had to be at least four days between shaves or I'd be in a lot of pain. I switched to this for my dry underarms and have had no pain or bumps since! I get a razor-sharp shave and can use it every other day without issue.

Is there a charger included with this?

In October of 2017, I received my copy. I assumed it was no longer alive. br>I examined the on/off switch with great care. It says RECHARGE when the circular switch is turned off, right above it. As a result, I plugged the charger into the wall outlet. That switch has been moved UP to cover the words RECHARGE. Allowing it to charge for a few hours resulted in it now working. If this is how charging is supposed to work, the instructions should state it loud and clear. Or maybe it was and I just didn't realize it.

It's been four years since I bought it. Is this something that's happened to anyone else?

It took me 9 months to finish mine. I only shave dry and only require a small amount of shaving cream, so I only charged it three or four times. I was let down. I've never seen a charger die so quickly.

Legs are a possibility. If you'd like to put this on your: br>br>Rather than just saying vagina (is that allowed on this website) or vaginal area or whatever, you can say mons pubis, bikini, down there, downstairs, pubes, pubic hair, and other ways of referring to the BUSH. Look in other places. br>br> I'm serious. I don't know if it will work if you're just trimming. If you want to stay true to your Brazilian roots, It won't happen, plain and simple. It's a nightmare situation.

For someone who despises shaving, this is a lifesaver! For someone who despises shaving, this is a lifesaver! I apologize in advance for the lengthy review, but I assure you that the information provided will assist you in making an informed decision!

- SETTING THE STAGE- Back when I lived in India, I used to have my legs, arms, arm pits, and other body parts waxed professionally once a month
5/5

When I first moved to the United States, I was shocked at how expensive it is to get it done here, especially on a student budget! I tried waxing at home, but there were always troublesome patches that became inflamed and red as a result of my inability to keep the skin taut. As a result, I began shaving, just like everyone else! br>br>The issue was that I had never shaved in my life. Perhaps once or twice in high school, but only when my mother was present to supervise me. It was one of my least favorite things. I despised having to spend extra time in the shower. I despised the fact that it had to be done so frequently. Cuts and razor burns were my least favorite parts of the job. I once attempted to shave my arms and failed miserably. That's when I realized I needed to look up electric shavers, and I came across this one!

- REVIEW- Close shave:br>I believe the most common problem with electric shavers is getting a close shave; however, if done correctly, this can be achieved. Hold the shaver perpendicular to the surface, so that the foil and both sides of the trimmer are in contact with your skin. Going back and forth over the same area several times is the trick. If you have longer hair, use baby powder and a dry towel to lift the hair up in the opposite direction of hair growth. Use the pop-up trimmer first if you have really long thick hair (or if you're a guy shaving his legs). br>br>Battery life: I used it right out of the box to test it out on a small patch, despite the fact that it said it needed to be charged for 12 hours before the first use and every use. It was easy to shave. I decided to wait 24 hours to make sure there was no reaction, and in the meantime, I charged it, which caused the blades to spin faster. So I think charging it in between shaves is a good idea. The manual claims that 12 hours of charging will give you about 20 minutes of shaving time, which seems absurd at first, but it took me, an amateur shaver, 10 to 12 minutes to shave both legs, arms, and underarms. I believe that 20 minutes is sufficient. br>br>Shaving with water: br>UPDATEbr>After a few months of use, I decided to try wet shaving, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dry shaving was no longer an option for me. My main issue of not being able to see in the shower with my glasses on was no longer an issue because there was no risk of cuts as with a regular razor. I could go over the same area several times if I wanted to. Because I was already in the shower, I was able to quickly rinse the shaver rather than brushing the hair off after each section, resulting in a better overall shave. br>br>Rather than shaving cream, I used a shower gel or soap. I discovered that keeping the skin and the shaver both wet and slippery made it easier for it to glide over the skin. To get a good close shave, I shaved in the opposite direction of hair growth, which took me a few minutes less than dry shaving. br>br>Prior to the update: _______________________br>I don't think this is a feature I'd like to try because I despise shaving. If I ever try it, I'll update this. The manual says I can use it with shaving cream, and many reviews say you need to shave with your skin soaking wet. I don't think it's necessary to wet shave when I get excellent results shaving it dry; however, I believe it's a useful feature to have in case it's your only option, such as if you're sharing a hotel room with friends and don't have enough privacy. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Surprisingly, the regrowth was not as coarse as regular shaving, which gave me the courage to shave my arms! To shave properly, you must allow it to grow a little longer than usual. Cleaning: br>br>Cleaning: br>br>Cleaning: br>br>Cle It's also very simple to keep clean. It comes with a dual-ended brush to brush hair out of the way while shaving, and after I'm done, I pop the head off and rinse both the head and the blades inside with water. It's a good idea to press your finger against the faucet to make a strong, sharp stream come out. I rinse the head first, then put some hand soap in some water in a cup and leave the head there to soak while I clean the blades inside; I first rinse the blades in the sharp stream, then dunk the blade only in the cup full of soap water and swish it around, and then rinse both the head and the blades. I use a q tip to get into the corners of the plastic inside, then shake both parts vigorously to get the water out, replace the top to protect the blade, and let it air dry for a few hours. Once I'm sure it's completely dry, I charge it. Ergonomics: br>br>Ergonomics: br>br>Ergonomics: br>br> It's very comfortable to hold for dry shaving and washing. It is comfortable to hold in my small hands and does not slip out of my grasp. When shaving wet with shaving cream, I'm not sure if the surface will become slippery. The buttons are well-placed so that you can use the thumb of the hand you're holding to start and stop the shaver or to open and close the pop trimmer. The design, in my opinion, is suitable for both right and left-handed individuals. The blade's side is large enough for quick shaves while also being small enough to get around tight spots. br>br>Portability: br>br>Portability: br>br>Portability: It's easily transportable if you have the appropriate case. The included case is insufficient to hold both the shaver and the charger. This is the only criticism I have. Aside from that, it isn't too bulky or heavy to transport. br>br>Longevity: br>br> Only time will tell if this is true. It's only been a few weeks since I got it, but I've already used it three times. I've done it four times now, and each time has been a success. Because the blade and foil can both be replaced, this is a good idea. Aside from that, if you read the manual, follow the instructions, keep it clean, and charge it on time, you're doing everything you can to keep the product in good working order. If anything goes wrong or I run into any problems, I'll come back and update this. br>br>Overall, I believe it is a good product that is reasonably priced (I paid $14 for it). The original price was 29, but the price has been reduced to 99. 99, which is still fantastic if it lasts longer than a year), it does the job well with no nicks or cuts, and it is FAST! br>br>Give this review a thumbs up if you found it useful! Please leave a comment below with any questions you may have, and I will do my best to answer them to the best of my ability. Good luck with your day!.

Charger
4/5

I just received my razor. I wanted to charge it right away, but I discovered that the razor connects directly to the charger, with no cord, and that the outlet in my bathroom is directly below my medicine cabinet, so I can't plug it in there. It shouldn't be too difficult to charge it elsewhere, but I didn't see anyone else mention it.

Even after 18 months, it's still a good deal- Just remember to treat the foil with respect! This nice little shaver doesn't give quite the same close shave as a good razor with good shave cream, but with a little care, moving it slowly over the skin, and going over the heaviest areas twice, I can get my legs nice and smooth and make my pits look as good as they're going to look at my age
5/5

The double-decker bus Cleaning is a breeze with this double-ended cleaning brush (long soft bristles on one end, short stiff bristles on the other). After decades of using five-blade Venus razors, I wasn't sure I'd be happy with a cheap electric shaver, and I'm sure there are much better ones out there, but between the low price, being able to shave whenever I want, wasting less hot water, and feeling smug about saving a TON on blades and high-quality shave cream, I'm very happy with my purchase. If you're switching from a traditional razor, here's some advice: Make sure the foil, not the trimmer or the head's edge, is pressing against your skin. It took a few shaves for me to realize that the rough results I was getting were caused by my lifelong habit of tilting one side of a razor against my leg, but after playing around with the angles, I discovered that laying the foil flat against my skin and moving the shaver fairly slowly gives me the best shave. I don't use it in the shower because it doesn't seem to work any better or worse than dry, so I can't attest to how well it works we br>br>I was concerned about the battery after reading some negative reviews, but it has lasted for over a year and a half, and I can easily shave my moderately hairy legs and armpits twice before the blades wear out. I charge it for the full recommended 24 hours after it starts to run low because that's what the manufacturer recommends, and if I don't use the razor for a week or two for whatever reason, I charge it again before using it. br>br>It has never caught on my skin or pulled my hair- At least until last week, when, while cleaning the head, my thumb slipped and the foil was nearly pushed out of its frame. I was able to lift the foil up with a small sewing needle and coax most of its edge back under the frame, so it still works, but because the foil became creased and there are now some gaps along its edges, it snags a hair every few shaves. It turns out that Panasonic sells replacement foil for less than ten dollars with free shipping, but at Amazon's current price, a new shaver is only five dollars more, so I'm buying another and Bottom line: a highly recommended solution for those who don't want to spend a fortune on a fancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy-schmancy- Shaver with a lot of glitz and glam.

In a good way, life is changing
5/5

I wasn't sure I believed the hype surrounding this razor, but I figured it was worth a shot for the price to help with my chronic bikini area razor burn issues, and let me tell you, I will NEVER use a razor to shave my bikini area again. This is an excellent product. I used the pop-up trimmer first to get rid of some of the longer hairs, then used the foil shaver to get a nice smooth shave without the bumps and nicks I used to get from shaving with a razor. I tried it on my legs as well and really liked it! I'm going to tell all of my female friends about it, and I'm going to buy some as gifts. This is a must-have item for any woman, in my opinion!.
