I shave every other day because I have coarse, thick hair on my legs. This is my favorite razor because it lasts for at least a month and gives a smooth shave.
As a woman, you can use this shaver pretty much anywhere on your body without causing too much skin irritation. You can get a lot of use out of a single shaver, depending on how much and how often you shave, and the price is also very reasonable.
I have no idea what they were made of, but they were awful razors.
It was the first and only time I bought it. I'm not sure. This razor has been a huge letdown for me.

I have dark, coarse hair that grows quickly, and I've tried everything: Nair (ugh), one blaze, six blades, epilation, safety razor, one blaze, six blades, epilation, safety razor I'd have smooth legs for 20 minutes at best, and a rash of ingrown toe nails at worst. I bought a few of these on clearance for a trip, and WHAT? Surprisingly, a long-distance relationship blossomed unexpectedly. No razor burn and a long-lasting shave. There aren't any prickles on the skin. I've been through enough of these to know it's the razor, not my angle, the amount of exfoliation, or any other variable, that's doing the job. br>br>At this point, I've been through enough of these to know it's the razor, not my angle, the amount of exfoliation, or any other variable, that's doing the job. In fact, none of the other Venus razors work for me — only these particular ones. Your mileage may vary, but I rate this as a five-star product.
When my friends began shaving, I begged my mother to allow me to use these razors as well. I've gone off the rails a few times over the years, even trying a subscription service that gave me staph! (This is a long story. ) It's still amusing to me that they call it a value pack rather than a six pack; It's really clever marketing. My only criticism is that no matter what fancy shave cream, gel, oil, or method I use, I always end up with razor burn two days later. Because my skin is so sensitive, I believe it will happen with any razor, but for the price, I've been using it for over fifteen years.
These razors are ideal for people with sensitive skin. They never cause razor burn or any other irritation when I use them every other day on my underarms and legs. They're a little more expensive than other disposable razors, but I think they're worth it because you get a really close shave and my skin feels silky smooth afterward. I'm going to keep buying.
I haven't used a Venus razor since high school, but I needed a razor for travel and decided to buy these. If you're trying to figure out if these are right for you, read the reviews first. Take a look somewhere else. These don't shave your legs very well, and don't get me started on the bikini area. My skin is never irritated or cut when I shave, but these caused it. It's just terrible.
It shaves really well. There is no need for an aftershave because there is no burning.
I rarely buy disposable razors because I find it difficult to justify throwing away a perfectly good handle when the blade dulls. Having said that, I bought these because I had a coupon that made them an unbeatable deal. These were merely mediocre in my opinion. They are extremely sharp, but due to the lack of cushioning and inflexibility of the head, this is more of a curse than a blessing. I cut myself more frequently with these than with my usual razors, and I found them to be quite scratchy, and the razor itself is small. I had the impression that I was covering the same area with more passes than usual. When I was using these, I also missed spots a lot more. br>br>However, I believe that most of my issues stem from my habit of shaving with a larger razor. Overall, these did indeed remove hair from my legs for a reasonable price, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to be hair-free. On a tight budget, it's possible to be completely free.
While I liked how it could pivot to follow curves, it left a lot of stubble behind and the blades quickly dulled. I had to go over the same area several times before it became smooth.
