I just got mine, and there's only one cartridge in it instead of six. 🙁
Yes, the blades are protected by plastic guards. It can be used over and over again for as long as the razor lasts - Not intended to be kept indefinitely, but adequate for the job.
You can't just replace the blade because it's completely disposable. Use it until it's no longer useful, then toss it out.

BUT, when I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find four packages, each containing three razors! These are the only razors I use; they remove all of my hair and leave me feeling silky smooth. A single razor can also be used for a long time. They are unquestionably worthwhile purchases. br>br>Edit: This is the second time I've ordered these, and I'm anticipating another four packages of three in each. This time, however, I only received one package, which was disappointing. oh well, I guess I was fortunate the first time I ordered these.
The item was never delivered to me. br>The photo of the front steps that was used as proof of delivery does not belong to my home.
These adorable little razors are incredibly coarse and abrasive to the skin! I'm not sure why they're for sensitive skin when the regular Venus (Extra Smooth, Glide, and the Comfort sub brands from Venus) are so much better. I ordered these because they were cheaper, but I won't buy them again because they get caught on the skin sometimes.
I'm very disappointed with this product; I've had good luck with Gillette razors in the past, and the most recent one was still great after 10 or even 15 uses. However, these ones have been irritating my sensitive skin since the first time I used them; they cut my skin and make it itchy, and I haven't been able to use them again after 2-weeks. They were only able to use three times because they were in so much pain. It does not sit well with me.
I'm not sure where all the good feedback is coming from. These have terrible blades on them. My skin was irritated, and they don't appear to be suitable for people with extremely sensitive skin. Perhaps the batch I received was defective, but it was a complete waste of money in my opinion. Returned.
I don't know if it's because I let my leg hair grow to chubacca proportions during the pandemic, but regular disposable razors weren't cutting it. These did a fantastic job of taking care of that while also remaining sharp and moisturizing.
I wasn't sure how well this razor would work for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a senior citizen with dry, sensitive skin. Most of the other products I've tried have irritated me, but this one appears to be exactly what I need, so I use it as needed. I am very happy with the results. br>Something completely unrelated to how the razor works, but when I ordered one to try because I wanted to see how it worked, I not only received one, but five razors, which is apparently how they are stored/come in the warehouse boxes, so when the drone picked the razor to send me, they sent all five but only charged me for one. That worried me, so Amazon was extremely helpful in determining how I could return the xtra. Now that I've had a chance to use the razor, I'm wishing I hadn't said anything. The extra razors had been kept. As I would have told them, this is not the case. I requested that the remainder be charged to me. br>In any case, I am very pleased with my purchase.
In my entire life, I have never written a review, let alone one that was negative. These, however, Razors. Are. Terrible. SO BAD. They yank my hair and cut my skin, and they're even worse than dollar store razors. That is all there is to it.
