It was a mystery to me too, so I ordered it anyway since I don't understand why it says 7 tubes when there was only 1 tube
I find it pretty quick to use. My skin feels mildly soothed and numb when I apply it, and it usually doesn't need to be applied more than twice during the day.
No, it just helps keep razor burn at bay. It removed all the hair and the razor burn and ingrown hair scars from my body after two years of laser hair removal every six weeks. Although my hair did grow back after 5 years, I lost about half of it. It's not bad that it's thinner.

Mainly, like other numbing products, it just numbs the area so that it's not sore There are still razor bumps on the skin. Having lidocaine in it does make it smell strange, but then again, who can say that it doesn't smell strange?.
There is so much water in this product! It didn't seem like it would be so loose to me. This was what I thought to be cream.
