I was hesitant to purchase this because it appeared to be too good to be true, especially given the low price for what you get and the positive reviews. I finally gave in and purchased this product on October 30th, and it arrived on November 1st. br>br>The packaging was very nice, and it included everything you need, including razors and eye protection glasses. My initial reaction was that it appeared to be genuine. It has some weight to it, and when you turn it on, you can hear a whirring noise as if something is going on. The next thing I noticed was that it only had one button (the power button) in addition to the trigger. To turn the device on and off, hold the power button down, and to increase the power level, simply tap the power button. It's worth noting that the "zaps" are VERY bright. Even though it was pressed against my skin and I was wearing eye glasses, I kept my eye clothes on during the flash to be safe. The first time I used it, it seemed to do nothing, but I had only used the device at power level 1 because I was afraid it would hurt. br>br>The second time I used it, I did a few things differently: I increased the power to 3 and did a single pass of zapping over the areas I was treating as neatly as possible, as if I were following a grid. Then I increased the power level to 4, did another pass, and then repeated the process at power level 5 (maximum strength) in the areas where my skin was the lightest. Every time I use it, I give it two or three zaps to each spot of hair growth, and then I wait four to six days before using it again. Because the part of the device that does the zapping has such a wide range of coverage, it takes very little time to cover a large area. br>br>The hair on my upper lip never grew back after my second and third sessions. It took six sessions to get rid of 99% of my chin / jaw / neck hair (two stubborn hairs remained on my jaw) My tummy hair is about two-thirds gone after four sessions, and my armpit hair is about half gone. br>br>I've been using this product for a month and it's helped me get rid of a lot of unwanted hair. For context, I am a cisgender latina woman with light yellow/gold skin tone and thick, coarse, black, curly body hair. Please keep in mind that higher levels of melanin in your skin can burn your skin as well as your hair. So, if your skin is medium-toned, avoid using level 5. If your skin is dark, don't use level 4 or higher to tone or tan. A small card included with the device shows which intensity levels are safe for which skin and hair colors. br>br>I've discovered that the best method is to shave and then zap when I get the "5 o'clock" shadow bit of hair growth. If you use this technique, your hair will literally smell like it's on fire, but it won't hurt you, and it appears to be the quickest way to get results. A few hairs will appear to be zapped out right away, but the majority of the hairs you lose will fall out within a day or two. br>br>All you have to do is try to be consistent, and it will work for you. I'm looking forward to not having to shave in the future, but I'm even more looking forward to not having to deal with the post-shave shadow. It's incredible to see that the patches where hair no longer grows are actually regular skin color rather than the gray/purple tone that my armpits usually have after shaving, especially in my underarms. br>br>Your skin will feel warm to the touch after each session, but I have experienced no actual burns on any part of my body. Over the course of a session, I may have one or two "Ow!" moments. " There are times when a zap actually hurts, but the pain is similar to being snapped by a rubber band and it goes away quickly. If my skin feels particularly warm to the touch afterward, I apply the "Australian Gold Aloe Vera Freeze Gel with Lidocaine" as a cooling gel. Please, please, please do not make the same mistake I did and apply the cooling gel to your face: It was the worst acne breakout I'd ever had. I wasn't sure if it was the device or the gel that caused the breakout at first, but after continuing to use the device without the gel, I can confirm that it does not cause breakouts. Now, after zapping facial hair, I just use a gentle face moisturizer and save the cooling gel for my body. br>br>I intend to use this product to permanently remove all of my body hair, and it likely comes with enough flashes for two or more people to do so. This item is well worth the money and is one of the best Amazon purchases I've ever made. It removes body hair permanently and has no drawbacks; if your body hair is darker than your skin tone, it is a must-have.

I received this on August 31st, and for the purposes of this case study, I only zapped my left side. I used it about 6 times over 3 weeks, then shaved both legs 10 days ago and let it grow to compare, and you can see my results so far! I've lost about a third of my hair so far. I've always used level 5 as a starting point. It's not painful for me, it's more of a warm flick, but it does make my armpits and the back of my knees a little sensitive. As a result, I'm considering lowering the volume to level 4. It will most likely take 5 minutes. It takes me about 7 minutes to do one leg, and I use about 200-300 calories. 300 zaps. I'm going to start with my right leg because it's totally doable. I'm not ready to give up shaving completely, but I can do so less frequently.

So, after two months of use, I made the decision to write a review. After I purchased the item, I noticed that all of the reviews were of how the product initially appears, which is because the seller offers a $25 gift card in exchange for a review when you first receive your product, which is the paper on top. I intended to use the item according to the seller's instructions before writing a review. I bought this item in May and began using it religiously on May 7th, every week, twice a week. The seller sent me an email stating that I should use it once a week, depending on the state of my hair. After the first few weeks, when it said only once a week was required, I decided to use it twice a week until I noticed thinning. It's been exactly two months, which is the length of time the seller said it would take to see noticeably less hair. This is not the case; I still have the same amount of hair on my chin and jawline as when I first began. This product was a waste of money, and the reviews are garbage because the reviewers were bribed with a gift card; additionally, after using it, you notice spots on the light that you can't remove, and they get worse with each use. Larger areas of hair, such as legs, are impossible to treat because the light strip is so small, and once the machine has been turned on for too long, it shuts down, requiring you to unplug it and wait 20 minutes for it to cool down before using it again. I didn't try again after that because it took me hours to do my legs. The product is ineffective, and I've had excellent results with laser hair removal in the past. This was my miscalculation in attempting to save money by doing it myself.

😊. Apart from going to Ideal Image, which is extremely expensive, this is by far the best product I've used; I've been using it on my chin for about 2 weeks and following the directions exactly. My hair began to grow more slowly right away. Hair on my chin is unattractive and difficult to keep up as a woman. I didn't have the typical whiskers; instead, I had thick, dark hair that has only gotten worse since the birth of my second child. Long-term effects are unknown at this time, but so far, everything appears to be in order.
