I purchased this trimmer after scouring the internet for a well-made, above-average product with favorable reviews. The Wahl trimmer is a good brand; it's a Lithium Ion with a lot of battery life, and it comes with a lot of attachments, making it very versatile. br>br>On the surface, the trimmer feels good. It has the feel of a high-end consumer product, which is exactly what it should be. br>br>It's a reasonable product to use, with logical design choices, but I prefer adjustable style versions over having to swap tips. br>br>I don't use it very often, and it often just sits on the counter, patiently waiting for me. br>br>As a trimmer, I'd give it a 4 out of 5 rating. It's well-made and appropriate for the price point, in my opinion. For the sake of convenience, I believe that most users will prefer a couple of different design options. It would have been nice if the suggestions were color coded at the very least. It's a pain to have to rummage through a bag to find a specific size. In addition, there is no way to store or organize the accessories. Many of the most affordable trimmers include storage options. br>br>Odd quirkbr>br>Well, I had the same issue with this (and its product family) as many others. It just won't turn off at one point. It appears that this is a common issue with the device as a result of a design flaw. The product is rendered completely useless as a result of this. Initially, I believed the trimmer to be defective and to have a design flaw. I even gave it a two-star rating and a warning in my review. I did, however, have a theory that proved to be correct. br>br>There is an odd design flaw with this device. It's thankfully not permanent, but it's possible that some people will mistakenly believe it is. I'm sure a lot of them were returned as defective, and this flaw has resulted in a lot of negative feedback. In the traditional sense, the device is not mechanically controlled. It has a lot of circuit boards, which is driven by the circuitry in use. This is where you turn things on and off, charge your phone, and turn on the LED. Some circuitry has a flaw in that it doesn't work as intended when the voltage is too high or too low. When the battery in this trimmer runs out, the On/Off function behaves strangely, staying on or off without being controlled by the button. To stop the trimmer from acting strangely, you must plug in the charger, which functions as a reliable secondary Off button. br>br>A word of caution, then. br>br>When the trimmer is fully charged, it performs admirably; however, when the battery is low, it may begin to behave strangely; thankfully, the trimmer is unharmed; however, you must plug in the charger and recharge the battery. The trimmer will return to normal operation once the voltage is restored.

On this one, the Wirecutter's advice failed me. br>br>At first, I used the 9854-. After one year of use, the 600 model broke down. "You get what you pay for," I reasoned, so I bought this model in the hopes of getting a better deal, but I was underwhelmed and disappointed. br>br>The T-shirt is a T-shirt with a T-shirt on the front and a T- Hair is constantly pulled out by the blade trimmer. There is nothing more vexing than this. It appears that no amount of oil is going to help. Furthermore, it appears that even a single drop of water will render the base inoperable: It keeps going after pressing the power button, refusing to turn off until the battery is completely depleted. br>br>After only three months, the T-cells in the T-cells in the T-cells in the T-cells in the T-cells The blade, as well as the plastic bracket that held it in place, broke. br>br>Looking back at the Wirecutter's review, the comments section is littered with other customers complaining about similar QA issues. Please, Wahl, do better.

The trimmer does exactly what it says on the tin - it works flawlessly. a nice, tight trim (including, if desired, some stubble - which is the look I'm going for) and unlike every other trimmer I've tried, it didn't pull at my face once. I haven't spent much time with the accessories, but the unit is lovely, has a lot of weight, and trims like a champ. It performed admirably both in and out of the shower. Until it all came to a halt! The story gets strange at this point: one day after returning from a trip (presumably due to baggage handler mishandling), the trimmer would not turn off unless it was plugged in. The wall is connected - It's turned off and isn't connected to the power supply - on. I called Wahl, not expecting much (my thing doesn't work, and I have no proof), and they treated me like royalty. They immediately sent me a new trimmer (complete with all accessories) and told me that if I returned the broken one, they would repair it for free and send it back to me along with a backup trimmer. I'll never buy another brand of trimmer again because of the unit and the customer service. I just wish there was a way to give these guys a higher rating than five stars.

When the recipient opened the package, everything appeared to be in good working order, but it appears that the charger or the shaving device are not the right ones: the charger is a single prong charger, while the device requires a dual prong charger. It's extremely disappointing that there isn't any quality control.

Over the years, I've gone through a number of low-cost Conair trimmers, and the motor always seemed to wear out after one use. 3 years. I had a hard time finding a more durable product with the fine-trimmer feature I needed for my mustache and other small areas. Because this Wahl clipper is a much more substantial tool, you can expect it to last much longer (roughly a year so far). I use it on a daily basis to shave my medium beard, mustache, and hair around my ears, as well as for a close shave of my neck (on most days, I use a Norelco rotary). br>br>The detail trimmer is the must-have feature for which I purchased both the Conair and this, and it performs admirably, easily trimming mustaches with pinpoint accuracy. The "standard" size T blade is excellent for beards and around the ears, the foil razor is excellent, and the various attachments are simple to swap out. I don't use a rotary nose trimmer and instead use a Norelco NoseTrimmer 5100 instead. br>br>Battery life is excellent; it has lasted months on a single charge. I've started charging on the first of every month to try to get the most out of the battery. br>br>I like the finish, but I've discovered that metal objects scratch it easily (don't put your razor body on it). together in the same container).
