Questions & Answers

When the vacuum is being used it lifts the hair as it cuts. ?

You don't need to worry about us "lifting" your hair. That is our job. This kit comes with several (batteries not included). It works well on short hair, but only when it is dry. (The compartment is very small and holds all the cut hair. I think it's an excellent This is what I use to shave my head.

Can this be used with a 220V outlet?

You can use it on 220v provided you have a wall plug adapter to match the wall socket on your 220v wall. There is a 100-volt system in the product The voltage requirements are 240 volts It is indicated on the UL label of the wall plug (Class 2 Power Supply) that the power supply runs at 50/60Hz.

Do you need to plug it in to use it? What does it look like when it's charging? Thanks a lot! ?

Yes, the cord plugged into the back of the item is reasonably long and connects to the device.

Can anyone tell me how the 6530 and the 6550 differ from each other? It would be helpful if you did not ?

For use on the face and on the top of the head, the VPG6530 is suitable for grooming mustaches and beards, whereas the HC6550 is intended for processing hair on the

As a first-time user of this shaver, I just cut his hair with the shaver and he was so cool the entire time
5/5

Since my son is 5 years old, he has Sensory Processing Disorder, and hair cuts have always been a nightmare for him because he doesn't like My son just let me cut his hair with this shaver for the first time and he was so calm the entire time! The sheer amount of hair sucked up by this thing was impressive. Several inches of his hair were long since he hadn't had it cut in months. It took me a few tries to empty it, but I'm not sure if we will need to wait so long between haircuts any more. I was so happy to hear that. Our lives were definitely changed by that experience.

This trimmer is comparable to Norelco trimmers
4/5

Having replaced the Norelco QT4070 (now the Norelco 7300) three times during the last four years, I had been using this machine for the last four years. I think it was an incredible shotgun, however I found the construction to be extremely poor and instead decided to try the Remington model. There is no disappointment for me! The following pros Please note The quality of the build is MUCH better. Several cheap plastic parts on Norelco broke off twice, so I had to replace it under warranty. In my opinion, the Remington has a much better feel, and build quality is not an issue. Please note A strong vacuum has been created. It is not uncommon for there to be hairs on the counter when the Norelco is used. There is a pretty good chance that the Remington has captured all dropped hair. Please note The battery life is good at this point. I've only used it two weeks, but it seems to be working well as a trimmer. CONS Please note For sideburns, the precision is less. I have to be more careful than I used to be. Traditionally, the length adjustment is made by hand. In addition to its adjustable length mechanism, the Norelco also had a small increment setting for finer control. In the case of the Remington, the adapters are snap-style, making these devices less convenient and less controllable. For me, one of the adapters fits my preferred stubble look perfectly, but I can see how some folks who are used to the Norelco 7300 might encounter trouble getting the perfect length. Overall, I'm happy with the build quality and how long it holds a It probably won't be used where precise measurements are required, but I think many people will like it better than.

After four uses, the product broke Repairable only by replacing the whole thing
4/5

A replacement cutter head was sent by CS. As soon as I received this clipper, I loved it- I got good results cutting my hair with the vacuum, it's relatively quiet, and it does a good job of cleaning. I would have given it four stars if the clipper still worked, but I would have deducted one star for the vacuum not being strong enough to catch all the hair. I didn't dislike it at first. However, on my fourth use, a spring snapped inside the cutter head, allowing the moving blade to slip beyond the guard and cut me on the leg. It is not possible to order replacement parts When I went to Remington's website to see if my stove was repairable, I was directed to a page asking for my zip code and then telling me my zip code was invalid (and every other zip code I attempted). My email has been sent to their customer service team, and I am waiting for their response. If I receive a reply from customer service, I will update this review.

A hair clipper should not break after four haircuts. /

*Updated Initial customer service told me the part was not covered under warranty, but an exception was made and the cutter head was replaced. Despite its different appearance (a different colored plastic and metal that appears to have a nitride coating), the new one has worked fine since then. It's time for me to take the next step The review went from a three-star to a four-star There it is.

In the beginning, I was unsatisfied
3/5

The outcome remains to be seen. During the summer of 2012, I used a Philips Norelco QT4070 to trim my hair up until it Next, I replaced it with another QT4070, which was good for another year. A weak latch on the door shuts off the vacuum function so you can clean out the trimmings. The latch on both models broke within a month. In the past, I had kept the door in place with rubber bands or tape. In the meantime, I decided to give their trimmer a try instead of buying a Philips Norelco 7200 Vacuum at twice the price. To begin with, I'll say it does a less than stellar job on my beard when it's longer. It used to be that I kept my facial hair at about 8 mm, sometimes even sacrificing it to 6 mm if my face was extremely About a week ago, I did a final trim of the QT4070 at 8mm. I just tried to cut something off using the 6mm Remington but it didn't seem to be uniform and it was only a small amount. I took it down to 4mm in order to be even. fine, since I too can rock stubble, but I prefer a beard to be substantial. My beard is quite wiry with a bit of a curlier quality to it, so it might have just curved under the blade, making it impossible to When it regrows (so it chops off the end of the hair instead of removing the middle), we'll see how it looks. As an additional point of interest, it came with a nearly fully charged battery. It took me less than an hour for it to charge after being plugged in. A cutting box can be used right out of the package if you really need it to be trimmed. The pros are 1

In case you needed a nose hair trimmer, it came with multiple trimming heads, a little shaver, and The vacuum function appears to be used by all of them. The idea is appealing to me. - Breathe. -Breathe. I think the vacuum catches at least 25 percent more hair than my previous Philips Norelco vacuum. 1. 2. appreciate how you take the hair catchment out of the trimmer and throw it in the trash bin instead of putting the entire trimmer in the garbage. Rather than use my entire trimmer, I prefer to "tap" out the hairs using a small piece of plastic rather than removing the entire device. The following cons The first paragraph. adjustment of the adjustable comb's length is more difficult to do than the dial on a Philips Norelco. I adjusted my Philips Norelco by 1 mm increments, where as this one adjusts by 2 mm - Breathe. -Breathe. The first time I used it, it didn't trim as well. The surface of my beard is flat. (No matter what type I have. I'll update when I have time. The conclusion )*br+ *br+ At the moment, if you're looking for a good vacuum stubble trimmer, then I can personally vouch for this one. This QT4070 is already cheaper than a similar Philips Norelco, and has some extras that the 7200 and QT4070 don't have that give this device added In the next few days, I will check on trimming my beard after it grows back. Update Since I have had the trimmer for about 20 days, I am a bit familiar with how it works. I'm not able to achieve a trim that's even past 6 mm. In this razor, the comb section in front of the blade is a bit more pronounced than it was on the Philips Norelco. In my case, I think it's my sort of wavy curly beard that gets entangled in that and pulls me It also has a 2mm adjustment rather than a 1mm adjustment, so you don't have to tidy your beard up nearly as often whenever it's growing.

This product meets its advertised specifications
5/5

I received this yesterday, and it went from being full head of hair to being bald in two days. I was surprised to find out that the cord is much longer than I would have The angle must be clean, and you must take your time because they will dig or struggle otherwise. It is a very good job, Hair went directly into the shaver in 9% of all cases. After a week from a skin fade, both are only about an inch from the top and extremely short from the sides. was beyond satisfied and impressed with the outcome and hope it is for the best. Whenever and if I need to replace them, I will buy new ones.
