In the past, I have owned both the Phillips 7200 and after it petered out after only 7 months (2 yr warranty), I thought this would be a more durable My preference would be for the old Phillips I used to have. There is no point in using a sliding mechanism for height adjustment since the bendy plastic guard makes it impossible to reach the correct setting even if the guard was functional. With the Phillips trimmer, you use While cutting hair at a high pitch in an annoying fashion, the Remington vacuum trimmer has more vibration and is louder than Phillips trimmer. It changes pitch constantly as if the motor is struggling, and it has much higher vibration than Phillips trimmer. Therefore, if anyone is reading this, they might want to consider buying the Phillips 7200 instead. the warranty period is shorter and mine gave out after under a year, but I admit I did not take care of it as well as I should have. I will be returning my Remington to be repaired I would recommend purchasing the Phillips model, and I am sure it will last longer with more delicate care (not running the vacuum under water, etc. ).
It's been about two years since I bought one of the Phillips vacuum trimmers, and after that one broke, I switched to To be honest, I expected Remington to provide a better experience. causes my beard to be very different in length when I'm finished shaving. My main option is to leave this on the very lowest setting my computer allows, which isn't I don't think so. The battery life on Phillips is more than twice as good. A far better choice than A very small amount of hair is left on the counter when I am done, and I am an Italian with beard. This trimmer's best feature is its ease of use.
Despite its adjustable design, the locking mechanism of the comb is a very bad one. A button for adjusting the comb's length can be found just below the head on the back of the trimmer. In the picture, you can see my thumb with the green button. It takes just one press of the button to unlock the lock so that the comb can move freely up and As a result, the comb collapsed to the lowest setting after I accidentally pressed it with my thumb while trimming. As a result, I had a section of my beard trimmed almost down to my skin, which ruined my beard.
I would give these trimmers zero stars if I had the choice. It is NOT a product that I recommend!.
A nice balance between the two. This battery is solid and feels great. It's nice that there is a Operating at a quiet pace. This guide is poorly designed for determining the depth of the beard trimmer. The body of the trimmer is only attached to one side. In essence, the guide becomes less stable as it is raised for more length of trimming. Easily change in depth or height can be interpreted as flexes. It is also difficult to change adjustment settings with the lock button. I found it difficult to accurately move, especially up for a long distance. Another very poor design issue is that it is nearly impossible to use it in a tight spot, such as the area under the nose, where a mustache needs to be trimmed. If you want to trim the open face for sort length setting, it works well. To speak to the clean-shaven engineer who designed this, I would like to speak to him. A strange thing about this project is that I am replacing an old Remington trimmer MB-1000 that is more than ten years old What ever happened to the 400 that is far superior to this one? Why did they discontinue this one?.
Great for trimming stubble, but not shaving a full beard. While its great for skin care, I wouldn't use it on my beard. The number of students is around three When I have a beard which grows every 4 days I have to empty the container at least once or twice, when I have a hair beard I would have to empty it every time I swipe. I do have to admit that the vacuum cleaner is amazing. Since then, I have used it six times so far and have been blown away by this version compared to the previous one. The hair is less messy after the procedure, which is a real plus.
The most part. Having owned a Phillips vacuum trimmer for several years, I decided to replace it with this one. As a whole, the trimmer gets a resounding MEH from me. The pros of this software include Functions such as trimming and vacuuming work as expectedbr>Neutral The cleaning was fine. I had no complaints, but I was also not WOWED by it. My experience has not allowed me to offer an accurate assessment of the battery life. Cons It is a very bulky comb because of its length. In the area closest to my nose, it is difficult to trim my upper lip adequately. It is necessary for me to use a separate trimmer to finish.
For a complementary use to As I left my working Norelco at home, I purchased this Remington for use on this With the Remington, I am very pleased with how well it trims. Its design is the only thing I don't like about it. Before I can change the bag, I have to remove the plastic guide and blades. Although the Remington's vacuum cleaner is more powerful than the Norelco, it's still a great machine It is less likely that Remington vacuums will let hair escape. The Norelco has a different way of detailing mustache edges (unlike the Norelco), so I have to change blades to do it However, the edger does a great job. the bottom line is that this trimmer works very well but requires shifting around in a way that a Norelco does not. But I would advise you to try it.
