If you plan on putting on the guards and trimming a beard or facial hair with the Hatteker Beard Trimmer, take it slowly! This is ineffective at cutting hair and instead pulls and tugs at it. I'm glad I didn't toss my electric clippers out with the trash. The product works well for cutting short hair (stubble), but anything longer than 6mm or a 2 guard will be difficult to cut. This is a product I would never recommend to a friend.

If my rating were solely based on the different blades, I'd give this shaver a 5. I can get close, even shaves, without scratching or nicking. So, why did I give it a two-star rating? There are a number of factors that contribute to this. br>br>The hairs that are cut do not fall into a catchment area. As a result, the hair ends up in my sink. Perhaps this is why it is suggested that you rinse the blades every day while washing your hair down the drain. My pipes would undoubtedly clog in a few years if I rinsed my hair every day. br>br>This unit comes with an oil vial (oops, they forgot to show oil in the advertisement), and the instructions state that you should oil the blades every day after rinsing your hair. I purchased this shaver in the hopes of eliminating the oil that came with my previous shaver. I decided to only oil the blades once every time the base was charged. br>br>The instructions state that the unit must be charged before use (the advertisement only includes a 10-minute charge), and that it must be charged every day. This isn't the most effective way to keep the batteries in good condition. So I made the decision to charge the shaver only when the charge dropped to 20%; The charge is now 35%, so in a few days I will charge it again. I've only charged it once, so it's still got plenty of juice in it. br>br>The oil won't fit in the storage unit, and the travel bag won't hold all of the accessories. br>br>I shave my face with the body trimmer every day, and the trimmer has come loose from the base on occasion. I'm hoping this isn't due to the fact that the connection isn't as secure as it was when the unit was brand new. br>br>I only gave it a 2 because it's so messy to use (hair cleanup). The deceptive advertisement as well as the deceptive instructions contribute to this.

Accessories for personal care. My trimmer had reached the end of its battery life. My battery was not depleted after three brief uses. I like that all of the optional tools allow me to control the length of my beard or hair. br>I'll have to spend more time with this tool, but so far I'm impressed. It's also reasonably priced, so I feel like I'm getting a lot more bang for my buck. a greater degree of versatility than a $25 machine could have provided.

So far, I'm pleased with my purchase, but I do have one complaint: the beard trimmer and body trimmer attachments work perfectly, but I believe there is a problem with the hair clipper "combs. " " Now I tried the hair clipper attachment with the 6mm tomb on my beard, and it kept yanking my hairs out. Now, the adjustable beard trimmer attachment worked perfectly, and the hair clipper blade is razor sharp, but I believe the hair clipper combs either sit oddly on the blade or have a rough edge that snags the hairs. People have claimed that the blades are dull or that the motor is weak, but I believe the problem is with the combs. I sanded between the plastic fingers of the combs and it's much better now, but it wasn't a problem I needed. Because my beard is coarse and tightly coiled, unlike the hair on my head, there may not have been an issue if I had used the hair clippers on my head hair. I hope this helps anyone who is having problems; I still give it four stars, but not five.

All of the trimmer heads and attachments have a lot of options, which I like. Unfortunately, the beard trimmer frequently snags hairs, which is inconvenient. Even though I used oil on the blade, it still snagged a lot of hairs. The body trimmer, on the other hand, performs admirably, so I may keep it solely for that purpose, but I'll look for a beard trimmer alternative.

Instead of cutting the beard hair, it rips it out. The pain was excruciating. NOT TO BE USED FOR BEARD TRIMMING. After 3 minutes of use, the battery life was down to 20 minutes. If you want to trim your beard, this thing is a waste of money.
