I have an adjustable head Panasonic and a Norelco adjustable as well, and neither do an adequate job. Despite being attached to the Braun guard firmly, it doesn't move, allowing you to trim almost an inch long with great confidence and accuracy. is guarded by only two, so it won't be a problem. The Norelco is good, but it includes a drawer full of attachments that are seldom or never used. Braun has a very simple, solid design that works well.
I have had this trimmer for 6 months now and the battery is still going strong. I had the same issue on three separate occasions, but the blades are sharp. The supplied plastic trimmer pieces help me to keep my beard in shape whenever I want it to grow. This means that when these pieces are put on and snapped on, they may not sit properly on the razor and then, when you go to shave your beard at level 5, for example, the plastic trimmer piece is actually at level 1 because it isn't sitting properly. Until one or two passes across the face have been taken, the average person may not even realize that they have shaved in the morning. This is why I do NOT recommend using this razor unless you never want your bears to grow larger than the length of the metal clipper.
With a good range of lengths to choose from, this beard trimmer is highly flexible. My preferred way to trim the sides is at about 6mm, and I like to trim the chin at about 16mm, and blend the transition at the same time. For the first time in my life (at over 70 years old) I have kept a beard for a long period of time. As a result of my weekly trim, I keep my beard reasonably neat and tame all the time, and I didn't have to pay a fortune for the product.
As a first thing, I want to say that I use this only to trim The only thing I do now is trim the sides every week or two now that I am balding on top. This used to work perfectly on an older Braun hair and beard clipper, but I dropped it, so now it is broken. A new version of this product has a curved blade and a comb that doesn't lift the hair as well as the old one to cut it. As a result of its multiple length configurations and narrower blade, it's clearly optimized to cut beards. Compared to the old one, it charges more quickly. You may want to consider this as a beard trimmer if all you want is to trim your beard. It is true that I would buy something else if I had it to do over.
I bought this because the razor I had died and is no longer being made by Norelco. As a consumer, I found Braun razors to be excellent. It's so dull to shave with that it actually hurts to do so. I have to keep going back to the same areas from different angles and I have to repeatedly use it. I have a beard of average coarseness, so we're not talking about an extremely tough beard. It won't be too long until I buy something else.
Here's a quick tip for you. My beard was the only thing I needed a shaver for since I shave my head with a traditional razor because it is bald. Because the razor comes with this starter set, it's a nice extra that I use while I'm traveling. It is also a superb shaver in its own right. This is an extremely easy-to-use tool that allows you to dial the blade accurately rather than having to constantly change Cutting is evenly distributed and the tool is The price was well worth it. This shaver is definitely the best one I've ever owned - it's never let me down and lasts quite a while. I've had a couple of other shavers like this in the past and this one seems to be the best for me.
I grew a bushy mustache and chin stripe in response to the pandemic (imagine Tom Selleck in Quickly Down Under, but gray A few years ago I switched to a Braun electric razor, so I went with that brand again, even though it was more expensive. Use the two length attachments to keep the chin stripe neat, straight and not too long (adjustable to 20 different lengths), and trim the area above the lip very efficiently. The battery very rarely needs to be charged. I would certainly recommend this product to others.
It has been about five years since I bought a trimmer. It cost about the same as the Braun BT5240 so I don't remember exactly how much I spent. The other was nowhere near as nice. It is well built and very sturdy. I like the heavy feel of it. A good job was done. With ease, attachments can be attached and removed. A very clear set of There is no need to squint or guess when using the Precision Wheel. All you have to do is turn to 6 or whatever number you want. It is very easy to take off and put on the blade guards. There is nothing better than this.
