Since our city is on lockdown, I have been cutting my son's hair for years and have been cutting my own for 9 months. To be honest, I am not a barber, but I have been cutting my son's hair since he was born. Currently, I am using a "W" brand set I bought at the department store, which is huge, loud, corded, and the cord is kind of long. It is much more convenient to use this KIKOMO. With regards to build quality, it's got a pretty good feel to it, thanks to the metal outer casing that feels strong and reliable in the hand. It's sized just right for medium sized hands like mine, and the grip is good. There are no metal attachments or accessories. Overall, the accessories and attachments are plastic, but are adequate and leave room for improvement. A single thing I would improve is the attachment mechanism. I was fearful of damaging it ever since I changed heads for the first time. Compared to the "W" I had before, the "W" seems to do a slightly better job with sharpness, but only marginally better. There is something about this thing that is much quieter, and that may also contribute to the perceived sharpness of the cut. In either case, I'd have to go over the hair multiple times, and not once did it ever get stuck, so it's definitely going to work. The reduced noise makes it a perfect choice for children as it will not scare them. I didn't even need to use the high power setting for my son's hair, which is on the soft side. In my case I have been using it a few times a week for the past 4 months. I am pleased with the quality and durability of the product. It has held up better than my Norelco waterproof watch. I doubt if it cuts as well as the Wahl stainless steel Li Ion+ (not sure), but I don't regret skipping the $80 price tag. There is a nice tray, but the cape is a little too However, stainless steel is indeed used to make the heads. As I use it in the shower, I have not protected it from water. I think it will last a long time. When skapping, I tend to bang the on-off button, so I have to remember to land it more close to the cutting head. The only real complaint is why did a screw on the body rust? I think this is a great purchase all in all.

When I first looked for a beard trimmer, I thought it would only be a beard trimmer, but this one has everything you could ask for. With this set you get a micro shaver, a precision trimmer, a body trimmer, a nose trimmer, and many different guide comb sizes. Despite the unit's look, the quality and build are both very durable, plus the battery life LED is an extremely useful feature. My travels will be a lot more enjoyable if I carry this as well.
