Even though the tips of the scissors are "safe," they should not be kept in water

Because the tips of the blades are rounded, the scissors are relatively safe. It was difficult to trim these since they weren't long enough or precise enough. It would be nice if the blades were longer and sharper, and the points could be "squared off" so that they are as safe as possible.

I love it. A great pair of I love how sharp and smooth it is. There are a WORLD OF differences between these and the generic $5 drug store scissors. Now I understand why one would want to invest in a good pair of scissors. If one wants to buy scissors, one does not have to spend $100, but $5 is surely not enough. This is an update (sorry, bad pun) We have been using these for about a year, and they have been through the ringer. There are two other scissors I bought at that time, the other is by Dovo (another company) and they were just as expensive, but they During the time that my Sanguine are still as pristine and sharp as the day I bought them.
