I just looked at the package, and all it says is that it is "anti-bacterial." It also says it "contains Thymol EPA EST. bacterial toothbrush sanitizer" that is designed to "kill germs on your br>toothbrush, patented Steripod System works for 3 months," and that it "contains Thymol EPA EST. No. 88350- MEX- 001". I've been using these for over a year and have never had a bad reaction to the sterilizing agent. After you've used your brush, rinse it and clip this on. It is also "BPA FREE." I hope this information is useful. I have no way of proving it, but despite my weakened immune system, I did not contract any of the upper respiratory infections. I believe the Steripon helped with the respiratory bugs that were going around.
Yes, they were BPA-free after being tested by a third party.
Hopefully, it wasn't in school that you learned your grammar. LOL.
Three greens, four blues, and one pink were among the colors I was given. For a family of four, this isn't going to help much in identifying toothbrushes.

These have proven to be a smart and effective way to protect our toothbrushes from germs as well as other incidental sprays and splashes to which toothbrushes are exposed when stored in the open. We chose to clip these Steripod protectors on to our toothbrushes instead of using a simple enclosed cover, which can actually become a breeding ground for more germs, but only after doing some research into how they work. br>br>Many reviewers have noted that the clips emit a strong scent at first, which gradually fades with time and use of the Steripod clips. The scent is made from Thymol, a natural plant extract from the thyme plant that is known for its antiseptic properties, according to some manufacturer information. It appears to be a natural antimicrobial component found in many mouthwash formulations. It is the main source of the Steripod's claimed antiseptic properties, and it is said to be a proven safe and effective antimicrobial substance. br>br>While it's difficult to quantify the effectiveness of these toothbrush protectors, as a germophobe, I feel much better about using them than leaving our toothbrushes exposed in their sink holder. The scent does not bother anyone in our house when used as directed, and I appreciate that the toothbrushes are better protected from germs and other contaminants than they would be if we didn't use them.
Get a different brand; I read about the sterilizing agent and it appears to be fine; perhaps all of the 8 pods I purchased have turned or something, but my toothbrush and mouth smell and taste terrible! Very strong chemical odor/taste, and to make matters worse, when I rinse my mouth with tap water, it tastes disgusting. It goes away in the end, but it's a pain. My return date is tomorrow, so I guess I'm out of luck there as well. I kept telling myself it was just a phase and it would pass, but it's been a month and it's still the same. A $20 bill has been thrown out.
On the toothbrushes, these steripods left a strong chemical odor and taste. I bought several of these for my family's summer vacations and for my children's sleepaway camp. Unfortunately, these pods had a strong chemical odor that persisted even after several days of airing. The brushes we kept inside picked up an acrid taste from the pods that wouldn't go away despite several thorough washings, including with dish soap. It was a real shame that I had to get rid of both the pods and all the new brushes I bought to use with them.
These are fantastic. br>br> I'm a neat freak, so I don't like it when my toothbrush is exposed or comes into contact with anything other than water, toothpaste, and my mouth. I used to be constantly on the lookout for a suitable cover, but that is no longer the case now that I've discovered these. I tried the travel holder cases, but they were too heavy for me. They allowed mold to grow because they let too much moisture in. The toothbrush was thrown away right away. Then I tried the covers with the brush head inserted and the cap closed underneath, but opening them seemed more difficult than necessary, and they kept breaking. I found these at W- after making a contraption that looked similar to these. They were ideal because they were simple to put on and remove. Because they don't fit snugly on your brush, air can get in and dry it out before the next use, which is a good thing. Someone will probably complain about the opening on the bottom being just a tad too wide to accommodate most brushes, but I don't keep my toothbrush in the bathroom anyway, so it's not a problem for me. Some people are bothered by the odor. br>br> Thymol, also known as thyme, is the herb. You're not going to wear it as a perfume or eat it. It goes away after a while, so don't worry about it. Some people are unhappy with the colors. br>br> Perhaps a problem for children, but at the very least you get two different colors in a two-piece set. pack. Otherwise, it's a toothbrush cover, not a sweater, regardless of color. You don't have to replace these every three months like you do with other things. Unlike other covers, they are simple to clean. br>br>I purchased the 8 pack as part of a lightning deal, which saved me a lot of money compared to regular Amazon and Walmart prices. I'm pleased with the prices because they are comparable to those found in supermarkets.
They only have to be replaced every three months. They come in two sealed packages, and you only need to open one of them before removing the foil that seals the Steripod. I didn't have any unpleasant tastes. The instructions do state that you should rinse your brush and shake it before using Steripod, and then rinse before brushing your teeth. When I'm ready to brush my teeth, I run the toothbrush under running water and then add my toothpaste; when I'm done brushing, I rinse the toothbrush under running water and give it a couple of shakes before returning it to the Steripod. Oral-B is the brand of toothbrush that I use. B Professional Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush with Deep Sweep Triaction 1000.
That's why I was skeptical when I bought these toothbrush covers, thinking they'd be just like any other. br>They are, to be honest.
1. Instead of sliding into a container, they clip on/around your toothbrushbr>2. When you throw away your toothbrush, they're thrown away as well. br>3. An anti- Something is inside the clip to help prevent growth in a moist environment, but it does not touch the toothbrush. br>I continue to use these for my entire family.
