Back in 2019, I purchased the set. The black toothbrush suddenly stopped working a few months ago. With a brush head attached, it simply will not turn on. It tries to turn on despite the presence of a brush, but it is unsuccessful. br>br>I had a feeling this would come up at some point. Putting on and taking off the brushes is a chore. It's a tad suffocating.
The brush head, like the Phillips Sonicare, moves independently of the body, but it is small and fast, making it difficult to see. The bristles are attached to the head shaft, which clicks into the handle body, but the head shaft moves. The handle vibrates, but most toothbrushes do as well. You won't see as much movement as you would with an OralB, which twists the upper bristles and moves the lower bristles up and down, but they are, in my opinion, comparable in terms of cleaning. Because I own a Sonicare and previously owned an Oral B, I'm able to compare the brush movements of these three brands.
Yes, both Handles charge at the same time as soon as they are placed on the charging dock.

Both brushes came with a total of five brush heads (two in the travel case and three spares). My wife and I have been using it for a few days and are pleased with how clean our teeth appear and feel.
For the past four months, my husband and I have both used this toothbrush. I have periodontitis, which includes gum disease, gum pockets, and bone loss (I was taught to take good care of my teeth but that dentists were a waste of time-- I was mistaken, and I learned my lesson. Every three months, I visit the dentist for a cleaning and examination. For the past year, I've been doing so. and-a- half. And things are pretty much the same every time I go in for a checkup. My first checkup after starting to use my new toothbrush was yesterday. They said my gums had improved dramatically, that my tissue appeared healthy, that there was little to no bleeding (instead of rivers of blood when they touch something), and that my teeth and mouth looked great overall. I still have a few Pockets that haven't improved, but the majority of them have. They attributed 100% my success to my toothbrush because it is the only thing that has changed since my last visit. I'm a very satisfied customer, especially considering the low price! I switched from a manual to an arm and hammer spin brush after seeing the dentist, but there was little to no improvement. First and foremost, I appreciate that I was able to purchase a "his/her" combination set, which makes it less "klunky" on our already cramped and overcrowded bathroom sink. Second, we both enjoy the sensation of the toothbrush vibrating. Every day, our teeth and gums feel as if they've been to a spa. Third, we appreciate Aquasonic's thoughtfulness in including a carrying case and extra brush heads, all for an incredibly low price! Thank you, Aquasonic! It's a completely different world switching from an Oral B to this. My teeth feel cleaner than they have in a long time after the first use. New users may find the vibrations too intense at first, but don't worry; you'll adjust quickly and realize how fantastic this is. I've never had such a "foamy" toothpaste brushing before, so you know it's really brushing those teeth hard.

I've only had the Aqua Sonic for a couple of days, but I'm already in love with it. I use all three modes when brushing; Cleaning, whitening, and gum massage are all services available. A total of 6 minutes, which isn't that long in the grand scheme of things! My teeth feel cleaner and appear more polished, and my gums are a bright pink color. It was a good investment, and I got a good deal! You will not be disappointed if you purchase it.
