I've got the partial denture that I needed!.
We got a similar appliance from the orthodontist for our Invisalign (yes, we have several users in our household) - but this is a better one. I find that it is very smooth and easy to open. The closure is easy to use. She has an elegant way about her. There is no problem with the hinge. The construction is solid and well done. My daughter wanted Elsa blue for her bedroom, but the color I purchased matches the second photo, not the first. I was hoping for a turquoise, but it is a much darker blue.

One hand is all that's needed to open and close this. The clear top on this retainer case is hard plastic, and I'm pretty sure it would crack when dropped on the ground. Normally I test retainer cases by dropping them, but I won't do that because the clear top is hard plastic. In conclusion, this will work well on a vanity or nightstand, and it is easy to throw in a pocket or travel bag. Mil specs do not apply.
The purpose of this order is to replace one of those "old-looking" Plastic retainer cases that look like the ones in high schools and colleges. There is a top and a bottom to fit with this You can easily remove small retainers from the bottom of the table (I have large, wire retainers). Its light pink color and the press button for opening it are both very pleasing to the eye. As it makes opening the case much easier, that was the selling feature for me.
