A level just below the top of the container should be filled with water. You may also choose to use a dental cleaner prescribed by your dentist, such as Kleenite.
There are no stops or breaks here. This is a sonic cleaner, so it vibrates the whole time your dentures are inside. At this moment. The off button allows you to leave them sitting there all night, even if you don't want to use the vibrate feature.
Maybe five minutes is all the time you spend running the cleaning machine. Currently, I'm using it to help my daughter keep her retainers in place. Whenever she's ready to use the retainer I run the machine for a few minutes after she inserts the retainer and uses a cleaning tablet in the morning.
In a word, yes. There are 2 AA batteries needed for this device

It makes a great deal of noise. The price range doesn't warrant much in the way of expectations. This item is for my dental appliance which I wear regularly. I thought it would be nice to have it cleaned on a regular basis rather than I suppose, well, this thing doesn't really do a My bathroom countertop is buzzing with this thing. The base is made of plastic, inside is a motor, and the entire thing is just vibration. By soaking my dental appliance, I am able to extend its life. However, there is one thing we need to clarify An ultrasonic cleaner is supposed to produce cavitation to clean objects, and this is what doesn't happen here. It does little more than mildly vibrate the water and make a lot of noise at the same time.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has retainers, mouth pieces, night guards, etc.
It failed to work on the first try. Initially, it worked for a few months and then stopped working. There was a time when the on off switch would vibrate after 10 or 20 switches, which became frustrating. It was too bittersweet a goodbye to not buy a new one and hope it will last as long as the old one.
It does the job well.
With my retainer now in place, this has proven to be a life saver. This is what I use to clean them and soak them in.
If it is placed on a flat surface, it does not vibrate as much or fall as much, since the suction isn't sticky. Worked with 1 in my case but I used 2 and it worked just fine! Place it along the wall and you'll be good. It uses two batteries but I didn't have any issues with it! It performs the task it is designed to do. Getting the most out of.
A lot of people really benefit from this product. As I limited use of one hand, the tablets I got to use with it are also very useful. The only regret is that I didn't come across it earlier.
When it comes to cleaning dentures, I do not see the difference between this and a pear brush. When used with batteries or with no batteries, it has the same effect. I will switch to my Denture Soaker Cup and Pear Brush for this purpose. Due to the fact that it is a glorified denture cup with a cover, I gave it two out of five.
