When I discovered these at my local drug store, I became a convert, and when I discovered them on Amazon for a lower price, I became a subscriber. I never go to bed without one on the roof of my mouth or between my teeth. I sleep a lot better now that I don't have to wake up for water because my mouth is constantly dry.
Sjogren's Syndrome has left me with a dry mouth. During the day, drinking water or sucking on sugar-free lemon drops was enough to keep my mouth moist. It was a different story when it came to bedtime. Due to a painful dry mouth, I was waking up every 3 or 4 hours. I was planning to get up at 2 a. m. , so I set my alarm for that time. 00 a. m. to take this symptom's medication. I was able to stop taking my 2:1 supplement once I started taking two Xylimelts at bedtime. dose at 1:00 a. m. Xylimelts has also aided in the prevention of tooth decay by keeping my mouth sufficiently moist. I also use fluoride toothpaste or mouthwash that has been prescribed by my dentist. I strongly advise anyone suffering from dry mouth to try Xylimelts.
My oncologist prescribed medication that has unpleasant side effects, and I have severe dry mouth as a result of radiation treatment for oral cancer. As a result, I rely on these to keep my mouth moist while posing no risks. I'm forced to use the Mint-based software. Because of my sensitive mouth, these are the only things I've found that work. They have a pleasant flavor, are discreetly tucked between my molars, and last for hours; I can even eat while wearing one, so I keep one on my gums throughout the day and at night while sleeping. Even at this price, they are less expensive than the prescription medications that my insurance covers.
My dentist gave me a sample pack of Xylimelts about two years ago, and after the first night of use, I knew I'd be using them every night after that. These aren't mints, believe it or not. They're saliva-inducing. Lozenges that attach to the gums and dissolve over several hours, lasting all night if used right before bed. They don't last as long if you're awake and talking, but they're still effective at stimulating saliva production without interfering with your ability to speak. br>br>This five-star hotel is a great place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing I'd highly recommend pack because it is one of the best values I've found.
This product is one of my favorites because it has a sticky side that can be used between the teeth. witty It doesn't move around. One will last for several hours, and I use one before going to bed. All night long, my mouth has been fine. I didn't find it to be as gummy as some of the other products I've tried.
Unlike other products, these melts actually adhere to the lining of your mouth. I started by using them at night, and one melt did help with the morning dry mouth. However, they melt quickly during the day and have no lasting effect. As a result, you'll have to keep popping new ones into your mouth, which isn't the best option. In any case, they work for the time they're in your mouth, so it's better than nothing.
I really like XyliMelts Mild Mint, but when I ordered it, I got XyliMelts Slightly Sweentened instead. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning the Slightly Sweentened, so I kept them. Mild Mint is much more flavorful.
They're great for dry mouth, and because they stick to your gums so well, they're never a choking hazard. They can even be used with mouth guards if you grind your teeth. I took a star off for the flavor because I prefer the mint ones, but these are fine and difficult to come by since my pharmacy was purchased.
