A light exfoliation is provided by the scrub side. You can either wipe it away or lick it away. I enjoy licking it off because it has a mildly sweet flavor. I've previously used a scrub that was far too sweet to lick off, so this level of sweetness appeals to me. The shine side is a light pink color with a lot of shine; it's great if you prefer a natural but glossy lip. After using the scrub, your lips will feel great.
This is fantastic!.
I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
Sure, they come in tiny pots with teeny tiny paddles, but those paddles are a pain to use because they're so small. The scrub is molded into a standard lipstick tube, and the hydrating tinted oil is on the other end as a dewy lipstick-like product with a wand; the tint is very subtle and can be worn anywhere at any time of day or night. It can also be used as a base for your lipstick, but I would wait a few minutes before applying my regular lipstick. br>br>The tint's color is so light that it's almost undetectable. Just enough to give you a nice, natural-looking set of lips. The hydrating oil is actually better than the scrub in my opinion. br>br>The scrub contains a large amount of fine sugar crystals, which act as a scrub to remove any loose dead skin particles on your lips. I discovered that there wasn't much sugar in the scrub the first couple of times I used it. The stick resembled a hard balm in texture. However, after a few swipes of the stick against my lips, there was plenty of sugar to scrape away at. During the manufacturing process, it has to settle. It's actually quite abrasive, but not to the point of harming your lips. I used the scrub on its own as a quick treatment on occasion. My lips became slightly sensitive after so many scrapings after so many uses. But I'm well aware that it was my fault for overusing it. You'll be able to gauge how frequently you should use it and when you should take a break. My lips are exfoliated well with this product. br>br>As much as I like the way this set was delivered, the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the moisturization only lasted so long. It simply lacked the stamina to last. I needed to use more of either this product or another lip balm within an hour or so. It isn't immediately drying or harsh, but it isn't quite refined enough in the hydrating department yet.
The sheen is pleasant. Not cheesy in the least. It didn't appeal to me at first, but it gradually grew on me. a lot. I believe the difference was due to the fact that my lips were no longer dry or parched, and this was the only thing I had been using. br>br> This Julep Scrub is one of my favorites. Shine, Exfoliating Lip Scrub Stick, and Hydrating Oil Tint are just a few of the products available. It's in the "Bare With Me" color, which is a light, natural shade. One side is a scrub, while the other is a gloss, as previously stated. The scrub is in the shape of a solid lipstick. In the container, there is a lot of stuff. It may appear harsh at first, but it isn't really. It has a firm base and is a sugar scrub. It just melts down once it's turned on. It can be licked or wiped away ("the product is fully consumable"). That's exactly what I'm going to do. My lips feel great even if I don't use the tinted oil to finish. The tinted oil, on the other hand, I initially mistook for it. meh. However, I soon discovered that my lips are in excellent condition. They don't leave you feeling parched throughout the day like some balms can. I don't use the scrub very often because I prefer the gloss. br>br>I don't use the scrub very often because I prefer the gloss. This is a fantastic exfoliant. Instead of putting it on my lips, I want to take a bite out of it because it's so crispy, crackly, and crunchy. Although the box claims that you can lick off the excess because it's completely edible, I did check the ingredients list and discovered that it contains aspartame (which isn't particularly healthy). But it's so delicious that I can't help myself. br>Applying the exfoliant tube to your lips works like magic. Even the most chapped lips will benefit from this strawberry-flavored sugar scrub, and the moisture will soak in after a few minutes. It's almost as if you've had a lip massage! Because I chose the color "Bare with me," the lip oil is essentially a gloss without color, which is exactly what I was looking for. Because the lip oil is quite runny, I recommend sticking to the scrub tube if you're prone to breakouts.
