Questions & Answers

Are your ankles and knees turning an "orange" color?

This is by far my favorite self-tanner, and I've tried a lot of them! Never, ever, ever, ever orange. My tan receives a lot of positive feedback. To avoid darkening my knees, elbows, and feet, I apply a small amount of lotion before applying the tanner.

Is it safe to use this product on my knees and chest? I've noticed that most self-tanners peel off in these areas. ?

Make sure you exfoliate before applying the makeup so it doesn't peel. To achieve a nice, uniform color, I use it all over.

Is this the real deal?

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I adore this stuff! I'm on my third bottle, having started in the middle of the year. It's May, and it's looking great! Only if you missed areas could people tell it was a fake. Because it's a mouse, it's very simple to use, and it has no odor to me. I put it on at night, then use a hair dryer to dry my skin before going to bed; There was never any rub off on my clothes. An FYI- When it comes to putting on your hands and feet, you must be cautious. I like to have some color on my hands and feet, but I only use a small amount. When I use this stuff, I get a lot of compliments.

How long will it take for the color to appear?

There is an instant color guard, but it vanishes once you shower it off at the 1-minute mark. , 2- , or 3- (Depending on how tanned you want to be, this could take up to an hour). You won't notice any tan for several hours after rinsing off the color guard; I usually don't see a difference until 6 or 7 hours later. Around hour 9 or 10, my tan is usually at its darkest.

Excellent lotion with clear instructions on how to apply it
5/5

I love it! Of all the self-tanners I've tried, this one is by far the best! It doesn't turn you orange, and no one suspects it's a forgery. I frequently receive compliments, and I recall reading these instructions in a review of another product last year or the year before. And they've been a huge help throughout the process. Since then, I've discovered better and more efficient or long-lasting ways to self-tan, so I've made some changes to it. This is how I do it, and I've never had a problem doing it this way. In the morning, take a shower and shave. If you tan right after this, your pores and folicles will be more open and exposed, resulting in dots. br>br>That night, take a shower and wash off. Use the loufa that is the most abrasive. Make sure you exfoliate all of your skin. Even if you don't think you'll get a tan, you will. (I do a full-body tan. ) Face exfoliation is also important. After you've dried off, apply a non-greasy lotion to your entire body, making sure to hit the elbows, wrists, hands, privates, knees, ankles, and feet twice. br>br> Lubriderm is the name of the product that I use. Now, let's look at the topics I mentioned earlier. Apply a small amount of coconut oil to your feet, making sure to get your heels, and then rub the remaining oil over your toes and up towards your ankles. Moisturize the rest of your body (elbows, wrists, hands, privates, knees, and ankles) with a slightly more emollient lotion (I like Bath and Body Works paraffin lotion). br>br>WEARING GLOVES Begin with your legs, using two pumps per leg, run this between your palms, and pat on your upper and lower leg, avoiding the knees. Rub one part of your leg, such as your lower leg, and then the other part, such as your upper leg. When the lotion is mostly absorbed, go over your knees and across your feet, from ankles to toes, in a sweeping motion. br>br>Continue rubbing the lotion into your skin as you move up your body. br>br>Use the same technique for the arms as you did for the legs. For both arms, you'll only need two pumps in total. Yes, you do want to sweep your armpits. You'll get streaks if you don't do it. Your wrists and hands will be done later. br>br>Mix a small amount of your face moisturizer (about half of what you normally use) with one pump of tanner and apply to your face and neck in a sweeping motion. Apply any leftovers to your ears and behind them. Avoid your hairline by gently sweeping into it with the bottle. If you don't, you'll get a steaky line. br>br>At this point, you can repeat the application process if you want. Depending on the season, I usually do. I apply less if it's the beginning or end of summer/tanning. It's important to keep in mind that the goal is to make it appear natural. br>br>Now it's time to talk about the hands. At this point, I remove my gloves and wash them so that I can use them again later. Apply a small pea(ish) sized amount of tanner with a cotton ball (you should only need one). Begin at the base of your palm, where your first bend wrinkle is, and work your way up the underside (palm area) of your wrist. Sweep the lotion up your wrist in small strokes, then apply to the top of your wrist; repeat on the other wrist. Apply another very small drop of tanner to the cotton ball and let it soak in. On the webbing, rub this on the backside of your hands, up your finger tips, and slightly between your fingers. br>br>At this point, you'll notice that you're getting sticky. Depending on how much time I have, I'll either wear my robe or loose-fitting clothing and a t-shirt. Depending on how dark you want your tan to be (I always go the full time because some will wash off in the shower), you may want to wear a shirt bra. br>br> Keep it on for the entire three hours; I'm usually exhausted by the time I get home from work, so I relax and sleep in it. There has never been an issue with me. br>br>When showering for the first time, it's best to just gently wash with soap and avoid scrubbing. Yes, you can shave, but not too close to your skin. Dry off with a towel. br>br>I've discovered that the majority of people suffer from splotchy fading of their tanner. This, I'll tell you, is due to a lack of proper moisturization. Coconut oil should be used after every shower. On your arms, legs, and feet, not much is required. After that, reapply lotion to your entire body. I've been using this technique all year since I discovered it by accident. br>br>I hope that this information is useful! Good luck with your tan.

Perfect!! It takes 24 hours for the color to develop
5/5

It's a little drying on the skin, like other tanners, so make sure you moisturize every day. You must prepare ahead of time. Exfoliate and shower b4 moisturizer at night So, I'm Irish, and I can't tan, and I sweat a lot. have skin with a reddish tinge to it I can't say enough good things about this product! I've had a lot of bad experiences with self-tanners in the past, but this product has fixed them all! When I apply it with ZERO streaking, I use a regular rubber glove. Sweating has never been a problem for me! I shower after leaving it on for the entire three hours. I'm left with a natural-looking tan that's not too dark for me and lasts a long time! It even fades in a consistent manner! I put it on my face (which made me very nervous because of previous bad experiences with other products). It turned out fantastically! I can't say enough good things about this product!.

Amazing! I really enjoy it
5/5

I used it right away after it arrived, and I was bronzed in 3 hours. Those who say it's greenish are correct; that's how the normal orange tones are cancelled out. Other reviews, aside from Amazon's, indicate that it has a green tone. I hope this helps, as I took pictures before, during, and after the procedure. I'm going to buy more!.

More than a 5 star rating is deserved! I'll start by saying that I managed a tanning salon chain for years, attended tanning expos, tried everything, and have always been interested in the industry, so I've tried a lot of products over the years
5/5

Years ago, I tried a small bottle of St Tropez's shower tanner and it didn't work for me, so I didn't try any of their other products. I was about to try out one of my many unused tanning products this week when I decided to watch Jaclyn Hill's video on tanning foam. LOVED IT. I was blown away. Why not give it a shot, I reasoned. I looked up the reviews for the Loving Tan product she used and wasn't impressed, but this St Tropez product was suggested. It was purchased by me. I got a tanning mitt kit for my birthday. Today, I decided to give it a shot. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING AND DESERVES MUCH MORE THAN FIVE STARS. I'm not going back to my old salons to use the spray booths because this is so much better, and it's so much cheaper and faster!.

Patches of color fade away
3/5

I'd already bought the classic St. Tropez self-tanning lotion. I enjoyed the tan, but I was looking for a formula that took less time to develop. While this product initially appeared to be fantastic, it has faded unevenly and refuses to budge no matter how hard I scrub. I gave it three stars because of the scent and longevity, but the patchiness has convinced me that I will never purchase this formula again. I was extremely disappointed because I adore the classic formula and had high expectations for this one. The photos show how my skin looks a week after the most recent application.

The best St

Tropez yet, according to Express! The proof is in the pudding, as they say. (pics). Yes, the foam is a strange greenish brown color for those who have never used this brand. Don't be afraid to try something new. I've been using it for YEARS and it always gives me a great tan. I have very pale skin and usually do the tan before going on a trip (remember when we used to go on vacations?). It does not make you look like a carrot; rather, it gives you a nice tan. I switched to the Express tan and am very pleased with it. I accidentally left it on for four hours before rinsing it (the manufacturer recommends three hours). However, the hue isn't too dark or unusual. It's really nice! Here's my Welsh-language version. a good complexion with a radiance the- With only one use, I was able to achieve a dark white quality, as well as a tan leg. As you can see, I'm in desperate need of assistance! The tan will develop for 8 hours after you rinse it off, so this is how I looked the next day. It's incredibly simple to apply and dries much faster than the St. Tropez I was previously using. It's also a lot nicer to smell. I'm a huge fan of the aroma. GET THE MITT OUT OF THE WAY. I used to have one, and it makes it go on so smoothly with no weird lines or white spots. You can even go over the elbows and knees at the end to ensure even coverage and avoid the appearance of strange brown joints. It's neither difficult nor difficult to master. I used to get a spray-on conditioner to get a good result, and I used to get a spray-on conditioner to get a good result. This entire bottle is the price of one or two mystic tans, so it's great for trips. Because I'm so pale, I adore the feeling of having tanned skin.
