It is. It should be authentic if you ordered it from Amika. On items like this, I try to stay away from third-party sellers.
Yes, and it's extremely powerful and lingers. So, if that's your favorite scent, you're in luck.
No, it's more of a heat protector/detangler.

Take a look at the feedback. The product is leaking when it arrives. A half-full spray bottle will set you back nearly $30.
It takes an eternity for my hair to dry. My hairdresser has to put me under the dome dryer before she can even begin blow drying my hair! This significantly reduces the amount of time it takes for me to dry. I have no idea how they do it or what's in this stuff, but it doesn't bother me. As a side note, my hair is only chin length, so if you have a lot of hair, this might not work as well for you. However, because my hair is porous from repeated bleaching, it holds more water weight than normal hair, and it has been well worth the investment. I used to have to wait an hour after towel drying before attempting to heat style at home; now all I have to do is towel dry, spray this on, and I'm ready to dry and straighten in 15 minutes. It only takes less than ten minutes to dry and straighten your hair now. It's absolutely amazing.
This is something my hairstylist has used on my hair at least 8 times. At this point, I've smelled the scent ten times and I'm completely enamored with it. I also enjoy how the scent lasts all week in my hair. It detangles my fine, thick, damaged, and color-treated LONG hair beautifully. As a result, I decided it was time to give it a go at home. I ordered the 1 oz size, but the scent in the bottle I received is not nearly as strong. I can't smell it even if I remove the cap. In the container, the product also appears to be watered down. My hair didn't feel as silky as it usually does. I guess I've finally figured out what I'm supposed to do. From now on, I'll only buy from Sephora or the Amika website.
Despite the fact that it is overpriced, I purchased this product because it is a well-known brand with excellent reviews. br>br>Even though my hair is straight, it is always tangled. As a result, I'm constantly on the lookout for an excellent detangler. I figured this one would be expensive, but given the brand and if it's a truly effective product, I'm willing to pay the price. My hair tangles nearly identically. br>br> After I sprayed a good amount of this on it, it was just as difficult to get through. I tried it three times over the course of three days, just in case I was unlucky. The results are the same. This is no better than a store-brand detangler in my opinion. Regrettably, this company's products are excellent. I will not purchase it again. br>.
My hair is fine, thin, and long, and it is prone to drying out and becoming tangled. My stylist recommended this product to me, and I'm glad she did. The scent is divine, and it gives my hair a lovely shine and makes it look so healthy. It only takes a smidgeon of a smidgeon of a smidgeon of a smidgeon of a smidgeon of I'm looking forward to trying some of their other items.
This detangler had a strange odor to it. Before buying the $25 (4 oz. ) version, I bought the $10 sample size (1 oz. ) to make sure I liked it. The 1 oz. had a wonderful scent. one. It also has a similar scent to other Amika products I've tried. The 4oz. The 2 oz. version did not have the same scent as the 1 oz. spray! It had an old odor to it, as if it had spent too much time in the warehouse. The label on the bottle was also peeling off, so I'm wondering if it's been sitting around for a while or if it's been exposed to extreme heat. I'm not sure I'll be able to use it because of the smell. I was extremely dissatisfied because I had paid $25 for it. The next time I buy it, I'm not going to do it through Amazon. This, I believe, is an Amazon problem rather than a product problem.
It does, however, last. Update. Update 12/20br>br>Before using a flat iron, I used this and Aussie on opposite sides of my hair. I'll give Amika the benefit of the doubt and say that it KEEPED its scent. I couldn't detect Aussie's scent, and I detected a faint whiff of hot hair, which was not what I was looking for. As a result, I had to award Amika another two stars and inform you. It's worth it to me because of that. To be clear, I'm still not a huge fan of the scent, but I'd much rather smell it than hot/burnt hair.
- This is smaller, more expensive, and doesn't smell as good as the Aussie Total Miracle Heat Protectant Spray. br>br>old review belowbr>br>This is smaller, more expensive, and doesn't smell as good as the Aussie Total Miracle Heat Protectant Spray. It'll cost you around $5 at Walmart. I hadn't smelled this product before purchasing it, but based on the reviews, I was confident that it would smell incredible. However, I do not believe it did. br>br>I gave it three stars because it's still a good product that's supposed to help with detangling, which it does better than the Aussie spray. But all I wanted was a heat protectant spray that smelled good. My advice is to figure out how to get ahold of it so you can smell it before you buy it. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy the scent.
I only wish it was available in a larger bottle. Pros:
1- The aroma is deliciousbr>2- It truly is a dream to untangle. br>3- Works as a fantastic leave-in conditioner. br>br>Consbr>1- I don't think it's a big enough bottle to last more than a few weeks if I used it after every shower. br>2- For the size of the bottle, it's a bit pricey.
