I'm 43 years old and have been a long-time Joico user. My hair has become much drier than it once was, so while I enjoy their shampoos, I find their conditioners to be too ineffective for me moisture-wise. This leave-in, however, I adore! It's superior to Aveda and Redkin products I've tried. I will say that even with my dry hair, I only needed a very small amount of this, so it appears that using too much might result in a greasy effect. I hope they keep this product available indefinitely.
I used it for the first and last time today, so I'm not sure if it works because I can't get past the horrible odor! It smells like a man's product, like cheap aftershave, but I used it anyway in the hopes that the odor would go away after I dried my hair, but it didn't. It has a strong odor that gave me a headache right away, so I had to re-apply it. To get rid of it, I had to wash my hair. I'll send it back to you!.
Excellent product! I really like this product because it works well with my fine, color-treated hair.
Because of years of coloring and damage, my hair is a bit frazzled and dry. I asked a friend of mine who works as a hairstylist to get me something to try and repair my damaged hair. She found this product after a lot of trial and error, and I really like how it makes my hair feel when it's dry. My hair is silky and soft, but it isn't shiny.
The item also came with a broken piece of plastic that had been snapped off. There is no way to fix it. I don't know how effective the product is. I'll notify you and update my review if the company cares enough to send a new top. The packaging was poor. It had simply been tossed into a box. There is no individual packing on it, such as bubble wrap, which is most likely why it is broken.
This is a complete nightmare. They should bring back their original product, but I tried this one in the hopes of finding a replacement. My hair is extremely fine and easily tangles. My hair was weighed down as a result of this. This is a complete waste of money. It's ridiculously expensive for such a small amount, and it's no longer available in spray form.
This product, which comes highly recommended by my stylist, keeps my frizzies at bay.
