I initially mistook it for comb-through spray and responded accordingly. sry. YES, THIS SHAMPOOL IS AMAZING. There isn't any SLS in this product. Laural sulfate is a corrosive chemical. and will not harm your hair's color. This product is one of my favorites, and I believe it will help you manage your oily hair. I give it two thumbs up!
Sadly, this is true.
It's the only thing I use, and it's lasted me over a month. My hair isn't too long (it's a Bob cut), so it's not too long.
Pumps were included in the bottles. The air conditioner let me down. It had an unpleasant odor and was extremely difficult to remove. This is something I will never buy again.

Take a look at the images. My color had completely faded after 10 days of using this shampoo with room temperature water. My hair was bleached lighter, and that's all that's left. The shampoo has a thick, gel-like consistency. If you squirt this stuff on your hair and try to rinse it off with just water, you won't be able to! It doesn't wash off well, leaving a gross residue that causes my top 1/3 of my hair to look weighed down and greasy in about 12 hours! There is an oily residue left behind. I hate to bring it up, but I'm getting pimples on my scalp for the first time in my life, eeek! This shampoo is on its way to being thrown away. I've had much better results and cleaning using pureology and davines in the past. In fact, I can go two days without washing my hair when I use those shampoos. Also, the air conditioning isn't very good. It doesn't make my hair soft or healthy-looking, and I have to brush it about 5 times a day just to keep it from becoming nappy! After brushing my hair in the morning, I'm good for the rest of the day. I can't believe there are so many positive reviews for this product; are they being paid, or did I get a fake? The positive reviews made me scratch my colorless head.
This shampoo is one of my favorites because it's clear, doesn't leave a residue like other shampoos, and it's sulfate-free. I've tried a lot of different products to keep my violet/purple hair color from fading so quickly, but this is the one I keep coming back to. I put 1/3 of the hair dye my hairstylist uses in the bottle, give it a good shake before each use, and voila, you have your own color depositing shampoo. The first photo was taken on the day I went to the salon to get my hair done, and the last photo was taken after the first wash. As you can see, the color remains vibrant and does not fade as badly as other products I've tried. To make your own color depositing shampoo and conditioner, I recommend using both the shampoo and conditioner, as well as 1/3 of the color dye used by your hair stylist in both bottles. To bring out the purple tones in my hair, I use Prevana "Violet" Color Enhancer. I wanted to share my hair care routine in the hopes of extending the life of your hair color. My hair is naturally thick and black, but it is bleached at the salon, so this also works well with bleached hair. To make your own color depositing shampoo, simply mix any color hair dye with this product. I hope this information is useful.
I really like this product, and it's less expensive on Amazon (33 oz vs 13 oz at Target). So this is how you keep your red for a long time: the right photo shows my red/purple mix hair after a month, and the left photo shows my red/purple mix hair after three months, when it has turned into a nice light brown. Washing your hair in cold water with a good product keeps the red longer, and I only wash it every three days. I also believe it's because the red was mixed with purple, which gives it a nice look now that it's faded until your next beauty parlor appointment. I wash my hair in cold water, then apply conditioner and put my hair up in a bun, allowing the conditioner to sit while I body wash the rest of my body in warm water. Then it's just a matter of finishing the air conditioner's cold rise. It takes a few extra steps than a regular shower, but it's well worth it to me because I adore my hair, and I'm 50 years old.
I rediscovered Nexxus products in the last year and have been enjoying the majority of them. There isn't much to say about this one. The idea of it being sulfate-free appealed to me. To keep my color safe, I'm going to be unrestricted. It was supposed to be gentle and moisturizing, so I thought it would be perfect. (I've been using Nexxus Emergencee Shampoo, which is a moisturizing shampoo. ) ) This is simply robbing my hair of its natural oils. It's a tangled mess and feels stripped even while I'm rinsing it out. As I try to rinse it out, I'm having trouble getting my fingers through it. I'm not sure how well it preserves colors because I've only used it four times. I'm sorry I purchased such a large bottle. It's a lot of stuff to squander. I simply assumed I'd enjoy it. It offends me greatly. To comb through my hair, I have to use a lot of conditioner, about twice as much as I normally do after shampooing. I feel like I'm undoing all of the progress I've made with Emergencee shampoo and conditioner. This is not something I would recommend to others. If I had to find one positive thing to say about it, it is that it does not itch my scalp. That is all there is to it. That's all I can come up with.
It's one of the Unilever brands that uses this ingredient, which I didn't realize before I bought it. A class action lawsuit has been filed against Unilever as a result of this. It's possible that this is the cause of my hair loss, but it's difficult to say. My scalp feels better and my hair isn't falling out as quickly since I stopped using it and switched to a different brand.
I really like how this smells, and I was really looking forward to washing my hair with it. My initial impression of the shampoo was that it was extremely thick, almost jello-like, difficult to lather, and that I needed to keep adding more. While in the shower, the conditioner did not leave my hair as smooth as others. I thought maybe I didn't rinse well the first day because my hair kept getting tangled while I was blow drying it and I felt like it looked greasy and weighed down afterwards. I tried again the next day, making sure not to use too much and to rinse thoroughly, and the same thing happened. It's returning, and I'm returning to my tried-and-true Biolage. In addition, I believe the price is a little excessive.
I had CRAZY dandruff, which I never have, and my boyfriend even commented on how stringy my hair was. I only used this product three times, but that was enough for me to know that I shouldn't use it anymore. I feel defrauded by whoever distributes and sells this product; it's awful. Do not make a purchase.
Your hair will be left with a residue after using this shampoo. After using it, it feels oilier than before. I've never had this issue before, and I've already gone out and purchased a different shampoo than I've previously used. I attempted three different methods. I washed my hair four times and made sure to thoroughly rinse it out for an extra long time each time, but I still felt like there was product left in my hair.
