Carol’s Daughter Almond Milk Daily Damage Repair Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner Set for Damaged Hair, Shampoo and Restoring Hair Conditioner with Shea and Aloe

In less than a month, it nearly ruined my hair. All of it was purchased by me as well. I purchased the moisturizer/leave-in, as well as the curl cream, shampoo, and conditioner. I have 3C hair and would not recommend this to anyone who has 3B hair. 4C. In essence, I'm saying that this isn't for us, the sisters. It damaged my hair by drying it out and causing hair loss, split ends, and other problems. Even with a silk cap, my hair mattes after just one night of sleep. My hair is currently brittle and dry. I've also been suffering from terrible dandruff for the past two weeks, which is unusual for me. br>br>I'm so disappointed that I only used this product for a month and now I've done so much damage. In 2012, I shaved my head and have kept it natural ever since. As a result, I am extremely picky about my hair and products. I usually stick to "As I Am" products, which I HIGHLY recommend; DO NOT USE CAROLS DAUGHTER. br>br>I tossed the rest of them in the trash. I considered putting them in the guest bathroom, but that would be a terrible idea. Do not apply this to your curls and coils. My hair will be rejuvenated and recovered over the course of months. My hair is starting to feel less brittle and retain moisture just two days after I stopped using Carols Daughter.

I'm ecstatic that my order arrived. On my hair, I absolutely adore this product. My curls are on the verge of bursting. It's a hit with my locks. So I did a wash and try another product on my hair, and when this arrived today, I took a small section of my hair (shown in photo) and rubbed the conditioner over it, and my curls instantly popped. I'll post a photo of myself with the product on my entire head. Please don't make any changes to this product, Carol daughter. 2nd photo update.

I'd made the worst of decisions by going to the hair cuttery for a makeover on my platinum blonde dye instead of going to the salon. My hair was DESTROYED after the woman bleached it TWICE in one sitting. I scoured the first drug store I went to for moisturizing products, reading every bottle label, until I found this hidden gem. Ingredients that aren't tainted, a fair price, and, most importantly, taste great. IT WORKS. After just one use, my hair started to recover from the damage and never broke or split. The miracles it performed left me completely shaken. Despite the fact that L'Oreal bought them, they remain a black-market operation. It's fantastic to support a black-owned company that focuses on black women's products. However, unlike me, you do not have to be black to enjoy this product!.

Carol's Daughter has gotten a lot of good press, mostly from the internet when I'm looking for the best curly hair shampoos, but this was a dud. I'm not one to write product reviews or complain about them. br>However, as soon as you apply this shampoo, it TANGLES your hair. I found myself dealing with serious knots every time I washed my hair! I had heard that this had happened to others and decided to put up with it, but I'm not sure why I put up with it after switching from Carol's Daughter to a new brand. While showering and even afterward, it dehydrates your hair. br>For context, I am a mixed race woman who is black, Indian, and Italian. I have loosely curly hair that requires good shampoo and conditioner to maintain. br>I used this after the devacurl debacle to find a suitable replacement. I used it for about 6 months and went through a lot of bottles before realizing how damaging it was to my hair. I also went through a lot of conditioner, which was the worst part; to combat the tangling caused by the shampoo, I had to buy two or three bottles of conditioner per bottle of shampoo, which was ridiculous. I think I was able to overlook Carol's flaws due to the low price, especially coming from devacurl, which is expensive, and the positive reviews, so I didn't think it was too good to be true, but it was. br>I honestly just want people to be aware of the difficulties because finding a good formula is difficult; however, I am now using a much better product that has taught me that my hair can be nice and soft and manageable. I'm not going to name the product because I don't want this review to come across as fake or planted, but I do want anyone who is having hair issues with it to realize that it's probably time to move on!.

I compared it to the real shampoo. The phony one has a chemical odor to it. The label's color is completely off, and it appears to be a diluted printed copy. I've been buying Carol's Daughter from Target for years, and the dispenser pump is also a little different size. I'm not going to put this in my hair.

When it comes to strengthening and conditioning damaged / over-processed hair, their monoi formula is far more effective. the hair that has been processed This product made my hair stiff and course, and it has a strong odor. It smelled awful right out of the bottle, like a strong, cheap perfume, but as I used it in the shower, I picked up some more natural notes of almond and possibly coconut, but once I rinsed it out, the artificial perfume was all that was left. People in the office thought I was wearing a very strong and unpleasant smelling baby powder based perfume because the scent was so strong even after it dried. I like this company's products, and despite the fact that it costs more than twice as much, I will continue to use the monoi formula. I figured I'd save some money by doing this because it's the same company and promises similar results, but the products are completely different.

My curls are looking super healthy now that I'm only using Carol's Daughter hair products and rinsing them with ACV. I basically went from long kinky curls to SOME curls and mostly just waves in my hair after causing so much damage to it, and it looked terrible! But I only use Carol's daughter products to take care of my curls, such as the gel and leave-in conditioner. I hope this, as well as other excellent Amazon products, does not become obsolete! I despise finding something that works only to discover that it is no longer available on this site. This shampoo and conditioner are gentle enough to use every day, which I don't do, but you could if you style your hair with products.
