This is my second time doing something like this, and it usually works out nicely. This unit is a replacement for the one I had previously, which broke down about a month after I received it. Last night was the first time I used this replacement for the first one. After you've finished using it, turn it off. br>br>I noticed that the toilet was beeping and that I smelled burning when I went to use it tonight. It was faceup and on a package of facial cleansers, so there was nothing to protect it. br>br>As you can see in the photos, the unit began to burn the packaging and became extremely hot to the touch.
It does not include ANYTHING you will need to whiten your teeth. There was no gel, and there wasn't even a mouthpiece. The only way to get a mouth piece from them is to buy a kit, which includes the same unit as the one listed here. It was a real letdown.
The photo was taken after only one use. The system is simple to use, and the results are outstanding, especially considering the low cost! I'm blown away. I've used the light and whitening gel three times now, and my teeth have never looked better! I will undoubtedly tell my friends about these products.
For me, it's too late. Please allow me to save you money, time, and effort. It's nothing more than a blue led light. It does not produce the uv frequency required to perform the functions claimed. I repeat, it does not emit the proper type of light, or even the appropriate amount of light. It didn't turn the paper at all when I tested it on a test strip that came with my blue light blocker glasses. Please consider purchasing a different product. br>br>They concealed my honest review. What a load of nonsense. I'm hoping it's noticed by someone else. Before they buy it, they should know about this.

EDIT. br>I was one of them. In my first review, I was far too harsh. I was under the impression that I would require the entire set. This refers to the mouthpiece guard as well as the teeth whitening gel. i didnt. I had an outburst. That said, for a few dollars more, you can get an entire kit from another company's product brand, complete with whitening gel, mouthguard, and so on. Don't hold your breath for much from this one. IT'S ONLY THE DEVICE THAT'S THE PROBLEM. Other than that, nothing. THE DEVICE, ON THE OTHER HAND, DOES WORK EXTREMELY WELL.

I like this product and have seen some results in a short period of time; you may need to get a refill at some point, depending on your own teeth, but it is still worth it. After drying my upper and lower anterior teeth with a small towel and keeping a wide smile to keep them dry during application, I apply the whitening gel with the micro brush to my upper and lower anterior teeth. For good measure, I also apply a small amount to the top and bottom of the mouthpiece. I usually set it for two 15-minute intervals and follow up with a 5-minute brushing with Sensodyne (my preferred brand). As a former dental lab technician, I understand that whitening can cause sensitivity, so be ready with similar toothpastes and other products if necessary. If the pain becomes unbearable for any reason, see your dentist right away. Keep in mind that extreme sensitivity is a fairly uncommon occurrence, in my opinion, as I've only seen it happen twice in my 5 years as a dental assistant. V/R.
Because I didn't want to spend $25 on just a light, I bought this product to use with my whitening gel pens from Smile Direct Club. I've only used it once, but I've noticed a difference already! I'm looking forward to continuing to use it.
