What a great question! Although the mouthpiece area of our Optic Whitening LED Kit is water resistant, we recommend rinsing it and cleaning it with a cotton swab to remove any excess serum. Never submerge the device in water near the power button; this will cause the battery to be damaged.

I paid $180 for this item on Amazon, but it is defective and does not work. Because the LED light, which is the most important component of the order, does not work, Amazon will not refund or replace the product, and the entire order will be thrown away. Customer service was terrible, and the money spent was a complete waste. Colgate is the place to go if you want to buy directly from them.
Hellobr>I am so disappointed that I purchased this product because the price is so high for what it does not provide. It's been three weeks and no results, so today I'll have to double my money to go to the dentist to bleach my teeth, and I'm still debating whether or not to return, but I've already used half the fluid! I'm not certain.
I used it for seven sessions and didn't see any results, so I requested a refund from Amazon. Take a look at the photos and make your own decision. "6 shades lighter," I'm not sure what that means. Do you? Which comes first: the first or the second?.
I'm about halfway through my whitening regimen with this product and wanted to share my experience. I just compared my before and after photos, and WOW, what a difference there is. I usually use the strips to whiten my teeth once a year. When I looked at my teeth a few weeks ago, I noticed that they were dull, so I decided to try this treatment. It's not like the strips I'm used to. Here are my thoughts on the subject:
- Whitening strips are more effective and easier to use in my opinion. They're simple to put on and wear (though you'll have to wear them for a longer period of time).
- This product is worn for ten minutes, whereas the other product is worn for an hour. (white strips) 30 minutes The shorter time frame appeals to me. br>- You must place the gel in the tray (and getting the gel out of the small tubes can be difficult). I like how simple it is to apply white strips. I'm concerned that the product will coat all of my teeth evenly with this product. br>- This product requires more cleanup. Based on my half-way results, I believe this product is more effective than my beloved white strips. Wow, my teeth are absolutely stunning. By the end of treatment, white strips, on the other hand, do a pretty good job.
- The majority of white strips are less costly. br>- Instead of 20 days, this product lasts ten. (white strips) for 30 days
- ZERO sensitivity is caused by this product. My teeth have never had a reaction to this system, which is a big plus. I've had sensitivity to white strips in the past, and I usually use the gentle ones, which are a little better but still make my teeth hurt or feel sensitive. br>br>I believe this is a good whitening product and would recommend it to others. White strips, in my opinion, are also very effective. Overall, different people's teeth react to products in different ways, and these are just my personal opinions. This thing won't stay on for more than 3 minutes two days after being fully charged overnight. It has never beeped at the 5 or 10 minute mark. After charging all night, it displays a steady green light in the morning, but it does not stay on for the full 10 minutes. Let's take a look at how difficult it is to obtain a replacement.
When I tried to use the device, the blue light would only turn on for a few seconds before shutting off after three or four seconds if I continued to hold down the button. I intend to return. Very let down.
It was a waste of money. When it was delivered, it was broken and had never been used. It's a waste of money because the blue light device is ineffective. Colgate will not accept any returns and will not respond to any requests for information about this dreadful product.
