Instead, go with the 4100
4/5

The 5100 model (this one) differs from the 4100 only in one way. It has three different modes: cleaning, whitening, and gum care. The only difference between the three programs is their length (2, 2, and 2). 5 and 3 minutes respectively). It's difficult to argue that an extra $20 is worth it, especially since there's no magic to the times (i. e. It's not as if cleaning begins at minute 2: 01). While it isn't a bad product, I would opt for the 4100 and use the savings to purchase a few more brush heads.

With a cool new feature, it's just like the DiamondClean
5/5

After switching from Oral B to Sonicare and never looking back, I'm on my third Sonicare. I used to have the DiamondClean, which was great until it stopped working after about 5 years. I then bought the Series 2 to replace it because they were selling two for $99 at the time, and my wife also needed one. Despite the fact that the technical specifications appear to be identical, the DiamondClean is significantly more powerful. I recently left my Series 2 in a hotel room and needed to replace it. br>br>I wasn't planning on buying another Series 2 because the performance isn't as good. It takes about 3-minutes to find the DiamondClean. It's difficult to justify spending four times as much on the Series 2 as it is on the Series 1. I came across a new model and decided to give it a try. br>br>It performs similarly to, if not identically to, the DiamondClean, and it's fantastic. Few people will use a few of the modes, but the new pressure-sensitive feedback is fantastic. It's easy to apply too much pressure to the brush, and this feature will teach you how to avoid doing so. This version has a lower grade case and a less fancy charger than the DiamondClean, but is the same at 50% the cost.

My wife will likely swap It's a fantastic deal that doesn't compromise on quality.

Going to the trash can is excruciatingly painful
3/5

I can't use this product because it hurts so much. My gums, according to my dentist, were also being harmed. A waste of money. br>br>This product has a lot of deceptive marketing, and everything on its page makes it sound fantastic. However, even on the lowest setting, the vibration is extremely painful when used. If you open your mouth slightly, it will also spray toothpaste all over the mirror. This item was purchased because I required something to alert me if I was brushing too hard; however, this feature is not available on this item. I tried pressing it against my tongue to activate the sensor, but nothing happened.

I really like how well this cleans my teeth
4/5

I like how well it cleans my teeth, and it's much more attractive than our previous model. Our previous model had a NASTY attachment point for the tooth brush on the handle, but this one does not. That was the primary driving force behind our decision to make the switch. The following are two things that I dislike:
1. Despite the fact that I am a fairly clean person, the black color shows white toothpaste debris a lot more, making it difficult to keep clean. It reminds me of Sisyphus - On a daily basis, the base is white. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br You can't use any of the "special" features (gum treatment, etc. ) until you've brushed your teeth for two minutes. I'm aware that brushing for two minutes is required - However, there are times when I am unable to do so! Not to mention that if I pause to spit, the timer resets and I never receive my gum treatment! When you spit it out, you can't take it out of your mouth because toothpaste splatters all over the place.

Not in the same league as the Originals
3/5

I had my previous Sonicare for over four years and it was in perfect working order. I bought this one, and it hasn't worked in four months. It doesn't matter if the battery is brand new and has only been charged for 24 hours; it makes a high-pitched noise like it's on but doesn't vibrate. There were no vibrations in the air, on my teeth, or in a cup of water. Even if I remove the head, it does not vibrate. I've tried softly resetting the head and cleaning all of the pieces to which it's attached, but nothing has worked. I have a whirring manual toothbrush that is overpriced.

The only toothbrush that actually cleans your teeth! I had previously used both regular and bulky electric toothbrushes
5/5

This toothbrush is truly remarkable. It's small enough to reach areas where brushing is difficult, such as the back of your teeth and corners. It's even smaller than the electric toothbrush that my toddler uses! It thoroughly cleans my teeth, which I appreciate. I used to have a lot of plaque buildup and had to scrape it off with a tool or my finger on a regular basis. I don't have any plaque anymore, and my teeth feel so fresh. The timer is an excellent feature that aids in keeping your teeth clean by allowing you to brush for the appropriate amount of time, and the battery life is excellent. There's no need to replace the batteries in your old toothbrushes anymore.

It's ridiculously expensive
3/5

I've been using Sonic for over 20 years. br>I'm unable to return to the manual. br>However, I find them exorbitantly priced (now that I buy them at retail after leaving the dental field)br>And I've never had one last more than three years. br>Diamond is the best; however, the $200 price tag is too much for me. br>Replacing the heads is also expensive, especially if the brush is used by the entire family.

This toothbrush is perfect for me
5/5

So, at first, I was hesitant to spend more than a few dollars on an electronic toothbrush, as I usually do, but this thing is fantastic! It has the right pressure for my gums (hence the gum care option on the handle), buzzes to let me know when 30 seconds have passed in that section of my mouth so I can brush for the full 2 minutes recommended, and my mouth and teeth feel very clean. Even though I have it set to gum care, I've noticed a difference in the color of my teeth! I bought one for myself and my husband, and it came with a carrying case and a battery that lasts about 2 weeks on a single charge.
