There are two Braun brushes in my collection. I have one for when I travel and one for when I am at home. I needed a replacement for the single charger I had, so I bought this one. I grabbed a brush and began charging it on the spur of the moment. A charge that would last about a minute and a half took two days to obtain. The connection to the base appeared to be off. It was extremely constrictive and appeared to be out of alignment. I continued to charge it despite the company's warning that it could take up to 36 hours. I assumed it was the charger because this brush had always worked. The brush was still not working properly after charging it for about a week. I decided to charge the second brush because I had nothing to lose. That brush is now in perfect working order. The charger is excellent, and I made a mistake in not following the manufacturer's advice that the problem might be with the brush. This charger is fantastic, and my second brush has been repurposed.
I put this product to the test with three different Oral B toothbrush models. Separating the brush from the charging stand took two hands in all three cases - It's much too small. While the two newer models appeared to work and charge correctly, the older model (model 3728) had issues - When charging, the charging light barely blinked on it, and when charging, it blinked extremely quickly (perhaps 4x normal speed). The 3728 appears to have fully charged, but it's unclear at what cost; note that the 3725 charged normally with three different Braun 3757 chargers, indicating that the problem isn't with the toothbrush. In case you didn't know, this unit can handle 120 volts. The unit runs on 240V AC and claims to provide 0. The output is 5 watts (1. 25 amps). 5 (at 240 volts, presumably).
It had the desired effect.
The charger that came with the toothbrush was 120V, so I bought it for a trip to Europe. This charger warms up but does not appear to work. After my toothbrush's charge died halfway through my trip, I had to buy a regular toothbrush.
I purchased it in order to replace my oral bristle brush. When I got to my destination, which runs on 220 volts, I plugged in the charger. It worked for 24 hours before ceasing to function. br>I unplugged it. Every outlet in the hotel room was tested. It's not going to happen. I threw it away and replaced it with a normal brush. It was a huge let down. Don't throw your money away.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. I misplaced the charger that came with the toothbrush, and this one worked perfectly in its place.
