I like my Oral B toothbrush, so I bought this charger and another Oral B toothbrush that was designed to work with it to take on deployment, and yes, the voltage used here is the European standard outlined in the product ad, and it lasted three weeks. I'd send it back for a replacement, but I don't live in an area where mail can be delivered. To put it mildly, I'm disappointed and frustrated, and it looks like I'll be using my Oral B in manual mode for the rest of my deployment.

The charger is similar to the one used in the United States, but it operates on the currents of other countries. All you'll need is a plug adapter for international use. This means I can take my toothbrush with me wherever I go.
