It's perfect, and it's very effective. The charger did not charge at all when I first tried to charge the toothbrush - I reasoned it out - there was no light, flashing or otherwise. I hadn't been able to re-enter the room. Charge the brush for several months to ensure that the battery is completely depleted. This was the case; the charger had to recondition a fully discharged battery before it could be charged. I checked it again two hours later, and it was still charging, with the blue light flashing. Since then, I've recharged the brush, and it immediately begins to recharge.

I liked that I was able to get a new charger for only $10. My model, oral B, 3754, differed slightly from the others listed. It really works. br>br>I just noticed on the handle of my toothbrush that it says Oral B AND Braun. That means it should work for both; I apologize if my previous response misled anyone.
