There is a "Soft" label on mine. Maybe they differ a bit from one another? My opinion is that the bristles are soft enough since they have an unusual design. My gums and teeth seem to be OK with this toothbrush, but it's a bit firmer than some other soft alternatives.

My teeth and gums have always been sensitive and I've had a lot of dental and jaw issues. Because of this, I would prefer an electric toothbrush, but the products on the market do not suit my needs. As a result, I will stick to these brushes for the foreseeable future. The bristles are very soft, and they actually get in between tight teeth, which also happens to be my case. Because the bristles of this toothbrush have a tapered shape, I'm able to position them in various ways to remove plaque left over after flossing that I had been unable to get Bristles also make up a good portion of the product. When I switched back to my regular toothbrush after purchasing a specialty toothbrush, I could tell there was about 1/2 the number of bristles, length and width wise, and immediately told myself I would not switch It isn't heavy but it does have a bit of weight to it. ***The only downside to this brush is the holes in which the bristles go in and stem from, as well as the surrounding area-that area holds toothpaste, plaque, and actual bits of food, and it's difficult to get them out.
