Questions & Answers
It preserves the flavor of my retainers. After cleaning, I recommend rinsing the retainer to get rid of the cleaner's faint bleach taste.
It would not be an issue if you left it in for a longer period of time.
I always use a new solution because who wants to drink dirty water?
The powder dissolves quickly in water; a few seconds of stirring should suffice.

We had been using a different retainer cleaner and were excited to give SonicBrite a try after hearing so many good things about it. The retainers had the same smell they had before we started using the other product after two cleanings in the ultrasonic cleaner with SonicBrite, but the smell was gone after only one cleaning with the other product. Because the odor returned after using SonicBrite, it appears that it did not effectively kill bacteria.
This product is used to clean 'invisible' style 'braces,' also known as Aligners. After using this product in conjunction with their Ultra-Clean, we were both extremely pleased with the clean feeling and deodorizing effect it produced. Sonic battery-package We've been using this product for over two years and it's always done a good job (follow the instructions carefully). Sonic Brite is used once a day to thoroughly clean the aligners (which are worn for 20 to 30 days). 22 hrs. /day). I forgot about this product for the first few weeks of wearing Aligners, and I was so frustrated with the 'fuzzy/furry' feel of the aligners, no matter what I used to clean them with my toothbrush (e. g. , toothpaste, liquid soap, and other similar items). Using the cleaning device in conjunction with Sonic Brite, on the other hand, eliminates the 'fuzzy/furry' problem, and I no longer have the taste of previously consumed food. There's a 'bleach-like' substance. Sonic Brite's 'like product' has permanently stained some towels, but once we realized what was going on, we were able to avoid it. After 4 weeks of wearing aligners, I notice a 'clouding' effect, which makes the aligners appear slightly opaque rather than transparent as they did when first worn. For the pristinely clean feel of my aligners, I believe this is a small price to pay.
However, I do have ONE complaint, and that is the OUTRAGEOUS $16 price. The 99 that Amazon charges for the refill is almost half of the total cost of the system. Rather than buying the refill, you'd be better off purchasing the entire system and reselling only the machine on an auction site to someone who only needs the machine to recoup some of your costs. SonicBrite's manufacturing of this refill cannot possibly cost more than a few dollars. It's a cleanser based on persulfate. Sodium thiosulfate and ammonium sulfate are the two main ingredients. Ingredients that are not pricey. The MSDS report can be found on the internet if you're interested. br>br>There are a slew of alternatives to supporting SonicBrite's opportunistic growth strategy. charging. Do yourself a favor and save the money by searching for simple recipes for cleaning your mouthpiece (night guard) with household items you most likely already have. Isn't it true that everyone needs to make a profit? However, if you do not wish to pay their exorbitant prices, over- Make your own refill instead of paying the high price for the refill. Allow SonicBrite to focus solely on the creation of these miniature machines. Don't go along with the extortionately high refill prices. Sonicbrite charges $12, by the way. If you buy directly from their website, you'll pay $95 for their refill.
My Invisalign retainers and my partner's sleep apnea mouthpiece are cleaned with this and a sonic cleaner. I discovered a small amount of product on the bottom, which smells strongly of chemical (bleach). However, it cleans, and the smell goes away after a thorough rinse. I'm looking for a more natural alternative, but for the time being, this will suffice. Maybe the mint flavor isn't quite as bleachy.
It functions admirably. The seller is always responsive, and the price is lower than that offered by other vendors.
I bought a powder refill for my $50 Sonic Bright device, but it stopped working a week after I received it. Since the original device came with the cleaning powder (the refill costs $20), I emailed Sonic Brite and asked if I could get the cleaner for $30 since I already had the refill. There was no response at all, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, So I went out and bought a cleaner that was both less expensive and more effective. The other issue I've encountered (hence the title of this review) is that the powder will bleach your towels if you aren't careful!.
appear to be fantastic It does exactly what it should. I strongly advise.
This is effective on my Invisalign and AOA aligners, but it has a slight chlorine odor that can last up to an hour. This is only used once or twice a week, and the rest of the time I use Retainer Brite tabs. Both are used in conjunction with a vibrating sonic container.
