I recently purchased this toothbrush for my almost 3-year-old son. He had developed a dislike for brushing his teeth, and it had become a daily chore for him. I needed to come up with something entertaining to keep his attention. I discovered this toothbrush at that time. It's not only entertaining, but it also simulates the behavior of a baby shark. Baby shark is one of my son's favorite toys. He began brushing his teeth with zeal and now looks forward to brushing his teeth twice a day. br>br>I originally gave this toothbrush five stars, but I'm having to change my mind and give it a lower rating because the brush heads fray and get ruined so quickly. We've been using an electric toothbrush on my son since he was six months old, and I've never had to replace the brush heads as quickly as this; I've already had to replace it with the second brush head, which is frayed. This toothbrush has only been in my possession for about a month. And now, after doing some research, I've discovered that I won't be able to purchase replacement heads until the summer of 2020 or later? That is completely absurd. How is it possible that a toothbrush is available but the replacement heads are not? I am dissatisfied with this tooth brush and will not recommend it to friends or family. Though I enjoy seeing my son's excitement when brushing his teeth, it appears that this was a poor investment if the heads are failing so quickly.
I understand that the product is aimed at children, but after reading that brushing your teeth for two minutes is the minimum amount of time you should brush each time, I found myself using my phone's stopwatch to determine when to switch sides. It felt like an interminable period of time. br>br>Then I discovered BriteBrush, and not only am I no longer bored or waiting for the timer to go off, but I'm also brushing correctly for the first time in my life, thanks to the instructions (which are, by the way, excellent!). ) that I should brush from top to bottom, not left to right. Who knew? br>br>Seriously, I'm brushing my teeth three times a day instead of two now that I've discovered BrightBrush. I'm brushing properly, and it's a lot of fun. The only changes I would make are to include adult-sized brush heads and perhaps some classic arcade games. Anyone up for a game of Pac-Man or a game of Asteroids? Perhaps something with a musical theme! br>br>STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. It's a true breakthrough in teaching people how to brush properly! WowWee, you've done a fantastic job!.
Your children will learn to brush only the front teeth with this toothbrush. Because it only registers up and down movements, your children will simply sit there and move it up and down on their front teeth to earn points in the games. Any subsequent movements will be ignored. If the movements aren't strong enough, the brush won't register them and will turn off after only a few seconds of "inactivity. " As a result, you must constantly stop your children from brushing their teeth in order to turn it back on. As a result, something that should only take a few minutes now takes much longer. These are something I would never recommend.
When we tried to brush his teeth, my two-and-a-half-year-old son would throw a tantrum. We had to distract him with songs, make him laugh, and so on in order to get him to open his mouth, but it was still a struggle. br>We've had the baby shark BriteBrush for two days, and he's having so much fun with it that he won't let go of it. Instead of being something we have to beg him to do, brushing his teeth has become a real treat. What a difference a couple of days can make.
The toothbrush is adorable. So far, it seems to be a hit with my son. I've worked in the dental field for more than 20 years, and I'm still having trouble convincing my 8-year-old to brush his teeth. I don't think this is appropriate for children under the age of seven or eight because the toothbrush does not indicate where to go; instead, it simply says switch sides, which is confusing, and my son still missed a few spots. It still requires parental supervision, but we can expect our children to be raised by electronics, which I am fine with. The best part is that it makes him want to brush his teeth more, despite the fact that it is not an electric toothbrush. The brush's head remains stationary.
This brush is completely useless because it is too stiff for a child to activate the brushing motion. My six-year-old son becomes enraged when he tries to brush his teeth vigorously (up to his neck). down) and received no response from the brush, he eventually injured his gums and threw the brush away! If your child is under the age of ten, you should not purchase it. Replacement heads are also a problem; they are impossible to come by! It appears to be a one-off transaction. You've got two heads in the set, but there's no way you're going to get any more. Worst $20 I've ever spent.
BriteBrush was purchased for my 7 and 10-year-old children, and they absolutely adore it! While brushing their teeth, they have a lot of fun and enjoy all of the games. They are ecstatic when they receive a perfect score of ten stars. I think the parent check light is a great idea because it means I don't have to worry about them brushing their teeth properly all of the time. I also appreciate the volume control, which is lacking in most sound brushes.
It encourages my children (6 and 8) to brush properly (for the appropriate amount of time), and best of all, they enjoy it! They can't wait to brush their teeth, and they use the games to compete with one another in a friendly manner. This product comes highly recommended.
